A Vision to See a Generation Transformed

Text: Nehemiah 4:17 — “Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other.”


We are not just building walls — we are building people.
We are not just fighting battles — we are fighting for a generation.


The Next 52 Days : Oct. 26th - Dec. 21st.


Over the next 52 days, we are going to strengthen the ministry of the Next Gen Department — Kids, Students, and Young Adults.
Our vision is clear: To see a Generation Transformed.

Goal: On December 21st we will host our Christmas Services and celebrate the day that we completed this project. Raising up 12 leaders who are leading 68 dream team volunteers.

We will Battle and Build.

  • Battle in prayer — through fasting and intercession.
  • Build in people — developing the leaders, volunteers, and systems we need to carry Urgent Church into a new season of ministry.


Our Four Focus Areas


1. BIGS (Elementary & Preteen) 

We’re building environments that engage their hearts and minds with the truth of God’s Word.

  • Strengthen the teams and the leaders that lead them.
  • Create spaces that make faith fun and memorable.
  • Launch new small group moments that teach kids how to apply Scripture to life.
  • Provide Worship environments in Large group and break out into small groups.


Goal: Two Team Leaders + 16 Volunteers
Raise up a generation that doesn’t just attend church — they encounter God every week.


2. LITTLES (Nursery & Preschool)


We’re laying foundations of faith early — showing every child that church is a safe, joyful place where Jesus loves them.

  • Strengthen the teams and the leaders that lead them to disciple our children.
  • Train new volunteers to bring energy, excellence, and care.
  • Support parents of toddlers and babies with practical faith tools.


Goal: Goal: Two Team Leaders + 16 Volunteers
Help every little one take their first steps toward knowing Jesus.


3. PARENTS ( Small Groups + Celebrations )


We believe parents are the primary pastors of their homes.
  • Launching Small Groups for Couples and Parents.
  • Equip parents with faith-based resources.
  • Launch a quarterly Parent Connect Night.
  • Provide devotionals and conversation guides that help families grow together.


Goal: Goal: Two Team Leaders + 12 Volunteers
Partner with parents to disciple their children every day of the week — not just Sunday.


4. GUEST EXPERIENCE


We’re rebuilding how families experience Urgent from the parking lot to pickup.
  • Create an excellent, consistent first-time family process.
  • Strengthen safety, check-in, and follow-up systems.
  • Make every Sunday a “WOW” moment for new families.


 Goal: Two Team Leaders + 12 Volunteers
When guests experience our ministry, they should feel the heart of God and the excellence of His people.



5. STUDENTS (Middle & High School)


We’re building a discipleship-driven student ministry that connects teens to God, mentors, and mission .
  • Train and Deploy student leaders to reach students in schools, online, and through outreach.
  • Grow student small groups that focus on relationship, relevance, and spiritual growth.
  • Develop a leadership track that equips teens to serve, lead, and live out their calling.
  • Create worship and event experiences (like Wednesdays, Waves, Student Retreats, and Hangout Nights) that inspire and empower students to live for Jesus.

Goal: Two Team Leaders + 6 volunteers
Empower students to become disciples who make disciples.



6. YOUNG ADULTS


We’re investing in the future leaders of the church — a generation hungry for purpose and community.

  • Launch a monthly Young Adult Gathering focused on worship, Word, and relationships.
  • Build mentorship opportunities between young adults and ministry leaders.
  • Equip them to serve, lead, and multiply in every sphere of life — college, career, and church.


Goal: 2 Team Leaders + 6 volunteers
Develop a generation of Spirit-filled leaders who influence culture with conviction and compassion.



Our Commitment: Battle and Build



For 52 days, we will commit to fasting, praying, and building the future.
We will fight for this generation in prayer, and we will build them into leaders who change the world. We are asking God to release 8 leaders and 48 volunteers into this transformational ministry effort.
