Self-assessment checklist: is our council in climate emergency mode?

  • Sustainable Scotland Network has developed a Climate Emergency Checklist in partnership with the Improvement Service and the SSN Steering Group, SOLACE and COSLA. The Climate Emergency Checklist is designed to enable senior leaders in local government and the public sector to assess their organisation's maturity and capability in tackling the climate and nature emergencies.
  • The Local Government Climate Emergency Toolkit is just what it sounds like. It's free to download (scroll halfway down in Sustainability Help). Helping councillors, council staff and community members enact urgent climate emergency action in their community, this toolkit was developed by Dale Martin after serving four years as councillor in the City of Moreland (now Merri-bek), Victoria.
