Primo VE Certification:

- Two live sessions 2/8 and 2/15. Erin and Michelle will join to answer questions
- Same day as next DWG meeting - will discuss rescheduling or skipping closer to 2/1
SLC Recommendations:
- Some SUNYs have locked down/may lock down their Primo instances. The LSP task force has asked us to discuss whether there should be a SUNY-wide requirement to have some form of open search that wouldn’t require authentication available. We considered reasons for forced login but agreed to recommend no login, Erin will draft.
- Database search in Primo VE header: Erin reviewed usability findings, we agreed to recommend not using default search. Michelle will draft.
- ERM WG Recommendation on Licensing Terms - discussed impact on patrons, use cases, Erin will post draft of our response for us to review
LSP Project Team support:
- Documentation/FAQs for the Primo part of the health checklist - Michelle is trying help but it's slow going, we'll submitted checklist more than once, will try to catch up
- Priority is capturing Basecamp Primo questions for FAQs
- A&I databases recommendations due the end of January: Shannon was satisfied with what we produced
Primo Config:
- Local field for local resource type - Nancy explained issue, would be great to work consortially and not reinvent at every campus who wants to use these, she'll contact Metadata group
- Labels for View Online : Is anyone planning to change these? Question from Nancy in Basecamp. Looked at Michelle's post about hiding them, discussed standardizing "get it" terminology and links.
Follow up on December's meeting: Authentication - forced for SAML? (Ulster question). Waiting for Ex Libris to respond to question. The DWG will draft some pros and cons for "forcing authentication" vs having patrons sign in at the point of need. Jill will start drafting this on Basecamp.
