4.10 - Governance and By-Laws Annual Report

The Governance and By-Laws Committee is responsible for maintaining and updating our Book of Rules and By-Laws to ensure they reflect the current needs and operations of our organization.

While some edits have been made in recent years, the committee has not been especially active. However, we anticipate renewed momentum in the upcoming fiscal year with the appointment of a new committee chair, Board Director, Lyle Breeze.

One thing has become clear: significant portions of our Book of Rules and By-Laws have not been updated since 2015, and we are long overdue for comprehensive maintenance.

I fully expect to see multiple updates and revisions to our governing documents over the coming year as we bring them back into alignment with our evolving organization.
