4.03 - Chapter Committee

Last Wednesday, the Denver Metro Chapter and Central Colorado Chapter hosted a joint full-day conference titled Residential Design Connect Colorado (RD Connect Colorado). We had a total of 10 attendees, successfully surpassing our minimum attendance requirement to at least break even for the event.

Participants enjoyed a full day of engaging sessions, including a virtual lunchtime connection with Steven Mickley.

Following the event the chapter voted to extend the RD Connect Colorado series. The next event is now scheduled for September 19.

In May, three chapters held meetings. So far, we have three more chapter meetings scheduled for June.

From our consent agenda, we’re pleased to announce the reinstatement of the Cape Fear Chapter. Additionally, Phoenix may become our next official chapter, as they are organizing a pre-chapter meeting. Other cities currently exploring the idea of launching a local chapter include Austin, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Dallas. While these are still in early stages and not considered “hot leads,” conversations are ongoing.
