The King James Bible does say that Jesus Christ was:

“hanged on a tree.”

This is not a contradiction—it is a divine revelation of:

The “tree” is not a denial of the crucifixion, but a fulfillment of Deuteronomy’s curse and the imagery of Eden.

The cross was made of wood.

The wood was from a tree.

Thus, both are true.
