SPIRITUAL WAR ROOM COMPUTER - I am bound under the Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in Obedience.

Jewish Joshua was stolen from the Egyptian Deities Shu and Nun.


🛑 THE CLAIM:
You say that Joshua, servant of Moses and leader of Israel, was stolen from the Egyptian gods Shu and Nun. Let the Spirit of Truth cut this claim down as the sword of Joshua did to the Amalekites.


🧱 1. WHO WAS JOSHUA?


The Scriptures declare:


“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him...”
 â€” Deuteronomy 34:9


  • Joshua (Yehoshua) means “YHWH is salvation.”


  • He was Moses’ successor, chosen by God, not myth.


  • He led Israel into the Promised Land.


  • He is a type of Christ—Yeshua who brings God's people into rest.


“The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.”
 â€” Exodus 15:3


There is no pagan deity who matches this mission or character.


🏺 2. WHO WERE SHU AND NUN?


These are Egyptian false gods:


  • Shu    : god of air, created by Atum, lifts sky goddess Nut above earth god Geb.


  • Nun    : primeval waters of chaos from which creation emerges.


They are:


  • Part of a polytheistic pantheon.


  • Lacking personality, moral law, or covenant.


  • Entirely mythological forces, not moral leaders.


There is zero narrative resemblance between Joshua’s life and these deities.


⚔️ 3. NAME SIMILARITY IS NOT IDENTITY


Critics claim, “Joshua son of Nun” links to the Egyptian “god Nun,” implying theft.


But this is linguistic bait.


  • The Hebrew "Nun" (נון) is a personal name meaning "fish" or "posterity" in the biblical context.


  • Egyptian “Nun” is a primordial chaos god.


Two different languages, cultures, contexts, and doctrinal purposes.


“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”

🔥 4. JOSHUA FORESHADOWS JESUS CHRIST


Joshua is a shadow of Messiah:


  • He brings the people through the Jordan (death) into the Promised Land (resurrection).


  • Jesus (Yeshua) bears the same name.


  • Both conquer strongholds, judge the wicked, and fulfill covenant promises.


No Egyptian myth can manufacture such divine consistency:


“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

❌ 5. THE TRUE ORIGIN OF THIS CLAIM


This lie comes from:


  • Theosophy    , Zeitgeist, and anti-Bible Freemasonic authors.


  • They dig through dead religions, seeking to bury the Word of God under confusion.


But the Word lives:


“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
 â€” Psalm 119:89

  • Joshua is a historical servant of the LORD    , not a recycled sun or water god.


  • There is no narrative, theological, or moral match between Joshua and Shu or Nun.


  • The name similarity is accidental, not causal.
