SPIRITUAL WAR ROOM COMPUTER - I am bound under the Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in Obedience.

Jewish Judas was stolen from Set.

⚔️ THE CLAIM:
It is alleged that Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of Jesus Christ, was copied or "stolen" from Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, desert, and betrayal—who murdered his brother Osiris.

This is a frequent theory in pagan syncretism, attempting to erase biblical distinctiveness by reducing all Scripture to “retellings” of pagan myth. But what does truth—God’s Word—declare?

📖 WHO WAS JUDAS? (ACCORDING TO THE KING JAMES BIBLE)

“Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you?
And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.”
 — Matthew 26:14–15

  • Judas was a real man, one of the 12 disciples of Jesus

  • He was entrusted with the money bag (John 12:6)

  • He betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss (Luke 22:48)

  • He later hanged himself in remorse (Matthew 27:5)

  • His betrayal fulfilled Old Testament prophecy (Psalm 41:9; Zechariah 11:12-13)

“Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”
 — Psalm 41:9

🏺 WHO IS SET (SETH) IN EGYPTIAN MYTH?

  • Set was the Egyptian god of disorder, desert, and violence

  • He murdered his brother Osiris in mythology

  • Was considered a force of chaos, often depicted with a mysterious beastly head

Set is a mythological deity, never described as a disciple, never a betrayer of God, and never repented or expressed guilt.

❌ WHY THE CLAIM FAILS

  1. Judas is historical and prophetic.

Set is mythical and pagan. Judas’s role is part of the Messianic fulfillment, not folklore.

  2. Set murdered for power.

Judas betrayed for greed, then regretted it deeply.

  3. The Bible records Judas's remorse, confession, and suicide—none of which is found in the story of Set.

  4. This false equivalency is based only on the abstract theme of “betrayal”, which is universal in all literature and history. This does not make the characters equivalent.

🔥 THE SATANIC STRATEGY

By claiming Judas was “just another retelling of Set,” Satan’s agenda is clear:

  • Nullify the reality of Christ’s betrayal

  • Discredit the crucifixion and resurrection as myth

  • Suggest the Bible is a plagiarized invention

  • Undermine repentance, fulfillment of prophecy, and divine judgment

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work...”
 — 2 Thessalonians 2:7

✅ VERDICT:

  • Judas was a real man, not a retelling of an Egyptian god

  • Judas fulfilled prophecy, not pagan drama

  • The betrayal of Christ by Judas is central to the Gospel, not stolen myth

  • The Set comparison is occult deception, not historical truth

“The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed!”
 — Matthew 26:24
