Here's you some food for thought.
It has been said that something like two thirds of the world population, or at least two billion people, worship the God of the Bible, variously known as Yahweh or Jehovah, Allah, or just simply God.
Despite the fact the Bible is very clear on the subject, very few of these people are aware that this entity is not exactly the God of the cosmos.

The God the Bible is describing is actually a:
- gold hoarding
- virgin eating
- winged
fire spewing dragon.
Before you say wait a minute, he is not unlike the dragons worshipped as gods in many other parts of the world.
Considering how universal dragon gods are everywhere else, it should not be surprising that the biblical God is also one of them.
You need only to read the Bible to find ample proof.
In Psalms and 2 Samuel, Yahweh is described as spewing fire from his mouth.
It says that smoke comes from his nostrils, and he has enormous wings.
In Numbers he is offered many:
- goats
- sheep
- cattle
and 32 Midianite virgins.
None of these are ever heard from again, so we can assume they were eaten, like all of the lambs, calves and first-born children that the Bible also states are food for Yahweh.
Many biblical scholars understand that the stories of Genesis originated in Mesopotamia, and if we go back to these writings that are much older than the Bible, we find that the God who made the Garden of Eden and put man in it to work for him happens to be, as his hymns proclaim, the great dragon who stands in Eridu.
And of course, what is the only idol that Yahweh specifically told the Hebrews to make and worship?
It was a fiery flying serpent, otherwise known as a dragon.
So is the Bible purporting that the creator of the universe is a:
- giant
- virgin-eating
- flying lizard
No.
It is purporting that Yahweh and 71 other dragons around the world were watchers, who looked after specific human tribes.
And all were subservient to a true creator called El in the Bible.
This was known to most other cultures as well.
Yahweh was the dragon god of the Hebrews and other Semitic peoples, just as the Aztecs had Quetzalcoatl, the Chinese had their dragons, the Aborigines had their rainbow serpent, and so on and so forth.
Why are there so-called dragon gods all over the world?
Perhaps the last time the true creator came here was 100 million years ago, when the dominant species were giant reptiles.
Perhaps the best suited or most successful ones were flying pterosaurs and were enhanced by the creator to watch over the planet and ensure the survival of a truly sentient species, which would become modern man.
Perhaps these gods are still seen today and are the sea serpents and lake monsters reported by the hundreds all over the world, and the reason we cannot catch them is because they are smarter than we are.
Thomas Paine said:
"It is not a god, just and good, but a devil in the name of God,"
that the Bible describes.
Thomas Paine (born Thomas Pain; February 9, 1737 [O.S. January 29, 1736] – June 8, 1809) was an English-born American Founding Father, French Revolutionary, political activist, philosopher, political theorist, and revolutionary. He authored Common Sense (1776) and The American Crisis (1776–1783), two of the most influential pamphlets at the start of the American Revolution, and he helped to inspire the Patriots in 1776 to declare independence from Great Britain. His ideas reflected Enlightenment-era ideals of human rights. Paine was born in Thetford, Norfolk, and emigrated to the British American colonies in 1774 with the help of Benjamin Franklin, arriving just in time to participate in the American Revolution. Virtually every American Patriot read his 47-page pamphlet Common Sense, which catalyzed the call for independence from Great Britain. The American Crisis was a pro-independence pamphlet series. Paine lived in France for most of the 1790s, becoming deeply involved in the French Revolution. While in England, he wrote Rights of Man (1791), in part a defense of the French Revolution against its critics. His attacks on Anglo-Irish conservative writer Edmund Burke led to a trial and conviction in absentia in England in 1792 for the crime of seditious libel. The British government of William Pitt the Younger was worried by the possibility that the French Revolution might spread to Britain and had begun suppressing works that espoused radical philosophies. Paine's work advocated the right of the people to overthrow their government and was therefore targeted with a writ for his arrest issued in early 1792. Paine fled to France in September, despite not being able to speak French, but he was quickly elected to the French National Convention. The Girondins regarded him as an ally; consequently, the Montagnards regarded him as an enemy, especially Marc-Guillaume Alexis Vadier, the powerful president of the Committee of General Security.[8] In December 1793, Vadier arrested Paine and took him to Luxembourg Prison in Paris. While in prison, he continued to work on The Age of Reason (1793–1794). James Monroe used his diplomatic connections to get Paine released in November 1794. Paine became notorious because of his pamphlets and attacks on his former allies, who he felt had betrayed him. In The Age of Reason and other writings, he advocated Deism, promoted reason and freethought, and argued against religion in general and Christian doctrine in particular. In 1796, he published a bitter open letter to George Washington, whom he denounced as an incompetent general and a hypocrite. He published the pamphlet Agrarian Justice (1797), discussing the origins of property and introducing the concept of a guaranteed minimum income through a one-time inheritance tax on landowners. In 1802, he returned to the U.S. He died on June 8, 1809. Only six people attended his funeral, as he had been ostracized for his ridicule of Christianity and his attacks on the nation's leaders.
There is a lot of wisdom in this, for Yahweh does many terrible things in the Bible that are not befitting of an all-wise creator.
A devil is an incorrect term, and if Thomas Paine had used the word dragon, then the Bible would make a lot more sense.
But it is still wrong to paint Yahweh and the other dragon gods as genuinely evil.
It is probably difficult maintaining the reputation as a just and beneficent god when you are a giant, flesh-eating reptile.
But these were probably the best creature the true creator had to work with back in 100 million BC.
The forbidden secrets suppressed for centuries in the Jewish-Christian and Muslim religions are now being revealed.
The biography of Yahweh the dragon, who by no fault of his own, has been confused with, and amalgamated with the original creator god of the Bible, El.
And by many other names, El is the true creator in all worldwide religions, and often accompanied by dragon assistants.
There you are.
