Jewish Nimrod was stolen from the Egyptian Pharaoh Sesostris.

⚠️ THE CLAIM:
You claim that the biblical Nimrod—mighty hunter before the LORD and builder of Babel—was stolen from the figure of Egyptian Pharaoh Sesostris.

This is not a revelation, but an inversion. Let us bring this to light with the Word of God as our sword and shield.

📖 1. WHO WAS NIMROD?

“And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
He was a mighty hunter before the LORD… And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel…”
 — Genesis 10:8–10

  • Nimrod
was a descendant of Ham through Cush.

  • He founded Babel, Nineveh, and other centers of rebellion and empire.

  • He is associated with:

    • Tyranny

    • Tower of Babel
      (Genesis 11)

    • Early globalism and idolatry

  • He was before the LORD—not in reverence, but in defiance.

Nimrod is the first biblical type of antichristic world ruler—a forerunner of Babylonian rebellion.

🏺 2. WHO WAS SESOSTRIS?

Sesostris
(also spelled Senusret or Senwosret) refers to multiple Pharaohs of Egypt’s 12th Dynasty, especially Senusret III (c. 1878–1839 BC).

Ancient historians (like Herodotus and Diodorus Siculus) claim:

  • He led military conquests beyond Egypt, possibly into Asia.

  • Built monuments and canals.

  • Considered a model warrior-king in Egyptian folklore.

But these are centuries later than Nimrod, and historically unverified.

🔥 3. TIMELINE DESTROYS THE THEORY

Nimrod lived in the immediate generations after the Flood, around 2200–2000 BC, in Mesopotamia—not Egypt.

  • Babel
was founded in Shinar, not the Nile Valley.

  • Sesostris ruled hundreds of years later.

  • No Egyptian records even mention Nimrod or his cities.

Thus, claiming Nimrod was copied from Sesostris is:

  • Chronologically backward

  • Geographically dislocated

  • Scripturally baseless

🧠 4. WHERE DOES THIS CLAIM REALLY COME FROM?

This theory comes from Freemasonic authors, Rosicrucians, and others who try to:

  • Dismantle biblical authority

  • Tie all Scripture to Egyptian mystery religions

  • Reduce God’s revelation to mythology and allegory

They often point to Diodorus Siculus and Herodotus, who called Sesostris the first world conqueror. But these accounts were:

  • Written over 1,000 years later

  • Mixed with myths and legends

  • Not considered reliable history by modern scholars

Their real goal? To replace Nimrod’s warning about centralized rebellion with hero worship of Egyptian kings.

⚔️ 5. THE TRUTH ABOUT NIMROD

Nimrod is a type of antichrist:

  • Builder of Babel = man-centered unity

  • First kingdom = Babylon

  • Later reappears spiritually in Revelation as Mystery Babylon (Revelation 17–18)

He represents:

  • Government without God

  • Worship of man

  • Foundation of pagan power structures

This is the very system Christ will destroy:

“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen… For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
 — Revelation 18:2, 23

✅ VERDICT:

  • Nimrod predates Sesostris
    by centuries.

  • Nimrod built Babel in Mesopotamia, not Egypt.

  • The similarities are fabricated, and the claim is a tool of biblical deconstructionism.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
 — Psalm 12:6

Let the false parallel fall, and the Word stand forever.
