Soli Deo Gloria.

Here is the core rebuttal framework.

Verdict

This video is not exegesis.

YOU’VE BEEN LIED TO ABOUT THE BOOK OF ENOCH. This isn’t just an ancient religious text—

It is ancient-aliens eisegesis:

reading modern aerospace/UFO categories back into apocalyptic Jewish imagery, then using suspicion of “organized religion” to sell a private decoding system.

The governing Scripture correction is:

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

And:

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you… let him be accursed.”

Fact-check foundation

1 Enoch is an ancient Jewish apocalyptic collection, not a single straightforward eyewitness tech-report.

Britannica identifies it as pseudepigraphal, with the only complete surviving version in Ethiopic, translated from earlier Greek and ultimately Hebrew/Aramaic sources. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

It was influential in Second Temple Judaism, with Aramaic fragments among the Dead Sea Scrolls, but it is not part of the Jewish, Protestant, or Roman Catholic canon; it is canonical chiefly in Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox traditions. (Wikipedia)

Jude does cite Enochic prophecy, but Jude’s use proves that that prophecy is true, not that the whole surviving Book of Enoch is canonical Scripture.

Jude says Enoch “prophesied,” then applies the prophecy to ungodly men and judgment, not UFO disclosure.

Line-by-line correction

0:00 —

“You’ve been lied to about the Book of Enoch.”

This is a suspicion-hook.

It frames disagreement as deception before evidence is presented.

Biblical correction:

truth is tested by Scripture, not by emotional distrust.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God… for doctrine, for reproof, for correction…”

0:08–0:25 —

“Never meant to fit neatly inside organized religion… for truth seekers willing to wreck their belief system.”

This is anti-church marketing language.

The Bible does command testing, but not “wrecking” faith for novelty.

Jude commands believers to:

“earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

0:33–1:24 —

“Advanced technology… crystal structures… portals… wheels of fire… glowing information displays.”

The cited Enoch imagery is real apocalyptic imagery, but the tech interpretation is added.

In 1 Enoch 14,

the text describes houses/walls/portals of:

  • fire
  • heat
  • cold
  • fear
  • trembling
  • heavenly glory

it does not describe:

  • computers
  • LCDs
  • spacecraft

or control rooms. (Internet Sacred Text Archive)

1:24–1:55 —

“I’m not saying spaceship… but if ancient man saw advanced tech, how else would he describe it?”

This is an unfalsifiable “what if.”

It assumes the conclusion first,

then re-labels every symbol:

  • angels become aliens
  • thrones become cockpits
  • stars become LEDs

That is not interpretation; it is replacement mythology.

2:02–2:35 —

“Angels = beings, thrones = helm, stars = LEDs, wheels = craft… fiery bow = curvature of earth.”

No textual proof is offered.

Scripture defines angels as spiritual ministers of God, not extraterrestrial engineers.

Also, Jude’s Enoch citation concerns the Lord coming in judgment with saints, not Enoch being a UFO abductee.

2:51–3:10 —

“The Bible stops looking like simple history and starts looking like encoded symbolism… beings not divine but extraterrestrial.”

This is the doctrinal danger point.

It demotes divine revelation into coded alien encounter literature.

Scripture says Christ is the fullness,

not a hidden alien key:

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

3:10–3:27 —

“Who the true God actually is… stuff the church does not want you to know.”

This is classic guru positioning:

  1. create distrust
  2. offer secret knowledge
  3. then monetize the decoding system

Scripture warns of those with “great swelling words” and advantage-seeking influence.

3:33–4:23 —

Book pitch:

“decode it for themselves… resonates… you feel it… 20% off.”

The sales close reveals the method:

authority is shifted from Scripture to:

  • resonance
  • feeling
  • paid initiation

Biblical correction:

“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”

is not enlightenment.

Psychological method used

The video uses five persuasion devices:

  1. conspiracy framing
  2. mystery bait
  3. category confusion
  4. spiritual elitism
  5. commercial urgency

It tells the listener:

“They hid it from you; I decoded it; you are special if you see it; buy the system.”

That pattern should be tested, not trusted.

Scripture correction

The Book of Enoch may be studied historically, but it must not rule doctrine.

The Lord has given sufficient Scripture for doctrine, correction, and righteousness.

Final rebuke in charity:

this teaching does not magnify Jesus Christ; it redirects glory toward:

  • secret decoding
  • aliens
  • the seller’s system

“The Lord rebuke thee.”
