Selling my 2020 Decent Espresso Machine v1.43 for $1700.

Preference for a local sale (within driving distance) of Silicon Valley area. Shipping within US at buyers expense (via UPS or FedEx, insured).

I've really enjoyed the machine but it's time to reclaim some expensive California real estate on my counter since I drink less espresso these days!

This machine makes fantastic shots. Blooming shots with 3:1 extraction ratio were a favorite of mine. Still has the standard (original) group head. The only replacement/modification was a silicone head gasket I swapped out after about 1 year of ownership.

Just over 2834 shots pulled on this machine. Water used was either Hetch Hetchy (while in Palo Alto) or reverse osmosis water (when living in a harder water area).

Total height (with tablet on top) is 17 inches.

While I have run the descaling routine multiple times with citric acid, I've never had any scale problems.

Comes with:

• Travel suitcase
• Decent Scale (beta version)
• Portafilter; has a bit of a worn/used wooden handle that can easily be replaced.
  • Head size is 58mm with an 18 gram basket and a blind basket for cleaning if needed.

Does not come with:

• Tablet, unless you agree that it's old and assume whatever risk there is with an old battery in an old tablet.
  • It's the original tablet that came with the machine. I never bothered updating it. It was always plugged in with the screen off or powered down. I'm mildly surprised that the battery seems okay.
