As a Zionist leader, he was presented with the Balfour Declaration, which pledged British support for a Jewish national home in Mandatory Palestine. Rothschild was the president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews from 1925 to 1926.
This served two functions:
it would ensure safe passage through the Suez Canal and trade with India; and it would placate both Zionist Jews and British Christians who had been fooled into thinking they should support Zionist Jews in obedience to God and the Bible.
There is nothing prophetic about the 1948 occupation of Palestine, it was a pay-off to Lord Rothschild for the earlier sinking of the Lusitania and blaming it on the Germans, thus dragging the US into WW1 as an ally of England.
Without their European and American assets, Jewish supremacism of ruling the world from Jerusalem is not feasible, and the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe served to create the racist/apartheid State of Israel.

In September 1947, and exactly fifty years since Theodor Herzl had made his famous prediction, the British government announced that the Mandate for Palestine would end at midnight on 14 May 1948.
The resolution recommended the creation of independent Arab and Jewish States in Palestine, and a Special International Regime for the city of Jerusalem.
Since the Second World War, three groups have converged and come to dominate American policy for the benefit of Israel:

How then, can people who claim to follow Christ be so misled?

Christian support of Israel is, in fact Antichrist, because Israel denies that Jesus is the Christ, hence rejects both the Father and the Son.

An awkward situation arises however, because it's not unusual for an anti-Zionist to stand accused of being anti-Semitic.
In the majority of cases, nothing could be further from the truth.
Anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism are two entirely different things.
Many Jews, including certain rabbis have been anti-Zionism, but it would be quite ridiculous to suggest they're anti-Semite.
Let's be very clear, for there has been a deliberate ploy that folks should confuse Zionism with Judaism.
Not all Zionists are Jewish by any means, and not all Jews are Zionists.
In fact, whilst millions of Christians are Zionist, a great many Jews are strongly opposed to it, which I repeat, would hardly amount to anti-Semitism now, would it?
Generally speaking, when either Zionism or Israel are mentioned, most folks automatically think of the Jewish people, which due to the propaganda-induced mind-set is understandable, but it's also very misleading.
Zionist Christians and Zionist Jews dominate both political parties in the US Congress, as well as the overall direction and policies coming from the White House.
It's pretty much the same here in the UK, where Zionist Jews have an almost total grip on the British Media, and it's reckoned that Zionists have effectively been running the show for at least 100 years.
The nation of Israel (Isis Ra El) is not Jewish, nor the Lion of Judah, nor God's gathering of Jacob to the promised land.
It is a British-Rothschild created mixture of:
Ashkenazis (Germanic Pagans)
Canaanites
Medeans
and Edomites as listed in 2 Kings 17:30, and flying the Star of Molech.
This is not the star of David as they would have us believe; it's the Six-Pointed Star of Saturn, the Primeval Sun and Black Star of the Chaldeans.
Although they call themselves Jews, and whilst they may well represent the interests of the Rothschild's, we need to remove the blinkers and stop thinking 'Jew' but think 'Gnostic' instead.
These people who claim to be Jews, were and still are, Gnostics posing as Jews.
