Introduction

Saying that we live in a world of contradictions and juxtapositions it is to state the obvious.

When there are sociopaths in power, the Indecision and uncertainties govern our social futures and politicians, and in our media there are undesirables manipulative and abusive, it's really hard to know what to do. where we're headed.

Maybe no one Know...

As he told me this morning A friend in a quick text message:
"What can you create This day, your day, from the essence of good thoughts, good words and good deeds. And so be it."
And so it is. This is our day and we do it as it is by living in the present.

As the eminent physicist Erwin Schrodinger said:
"Forever and forever there is always only now, only one now; The present is the only there is no end to it."
Maybe not really Whether we understand, or don't like what's happening, but we still have power to make our own decisions.

In everything we choose, and when it comes to the basics, what we should To do inescapably, we discover that we have a choice It is essential to assign our life to Love or Fear...

In other words, if We choose Love, we stand on the side of compassion, empathy, acceptance, forgiveness and tolerance. And if we choose to align with Fear we give ourselves over to manipulation, anxiety and vulnerability.

And if we want, we can decide how we want to see our map of the world. world. Because how we resolve to see and interpret the world will depend on largely from our state of consciousness.

What I'm trying to To say is that we can choose to think, act, behave, and be in a different way. A different way to the dysfunctional things we see in the world that surrounds us.

That is, we can choose to be a force for good.

We can choose to be a sacred heretic, which is the title of the Today's article, adapted from my forthcoming book "The Sacred Revival - Magic, Mind & Meaning in a Technological Age".

Heretics Sacred
Every society has a cognitive structure of permissible knowledge that is managed by an elite and of knowledge on black or underground markets, cognitive criminals, heretics, revolutionaries, or simply madmen.
William Irwin Thompson
Our Concepts Humans of truth are always partial, fragmented, and incomplete, because they are a reflection of our own imperfections and our incompleteness.

Each culture creates its own cosmology, its coherent picture of the world and therefore also, invariably, their own limitations. And those patterns of thoughts or ideas that do not fit into the social consensus label them heretical.

These are distinctions - the boundaries, parameters and perimeters - erected by the human mind.

The mind builds the the world as we see it...

Every culture considers that their view of the world is the best. In the same way as every culture teaches its own history based on biased historical texts, Every society coats the mind with biased thinking.

The modern vision of the The world has assumed the belief that this is the world, rather than a particular view of the world. The distinction may seem slight, but Its consequences are far-reaching.

The consensual assumptions held by our society are will always oppose our own attempts at transformation beyond social conditioning.

Escaping the Patterns rooted and conditioned views will always make You are labeled a "heretic."

A conscious mental heretic is not necessarily a bad heretic:
The evolution of the Human civilization has always depended on them.
We can choose which type narrative we wish to use to frame our perspective of the life and reality, but not choosing any narrative at all It's just not an option, it's not possible either.

The world we choose to see is our map of the world, and to a large extent Measure, it is a projection of our own state of consciousness. But this can be both a trap and a release.

If we are not open to flexibility and variation, we can get trapped within the parameters of our mental models.

Similarly, Societies exhibit a reluctance to open up to such flexibility. So that often at the beginning, innovative ideas and Visionary minds feel threatened.

Such conservatism It can be thought of as a philosophy of small minds who prefer safety and security to serving the status quo.

But they are in danger of forgetting that the imperative of life is to change and transcend continuously.

Many of our culturally biased perceptions are They are constituted according to a selective view of reality. When We broaden our capacity for conscious reflection, we enlarge our perspective of the cosmos.

Our Mental Capacity it is a window of perception; And we see through one more opening or less wide; as if we were looking out from a room through a small window or a larger one.

But today's cult of scientific reason has led us to believe that physics and Math is the only way to "read" the universe.

In other words, that any relationship to or understanding of the cosmos, and/or Any kind of cosmic intelligence is established by the power of the of the equations.

For many of us, the world, the universe — our sense of meaning — may be little more than a set of complex equations.

Naturally, we could Ask us the following question:
What does it make us think that our current way of seeing the world is the right one, or that Contemporary Understanding Is Better Than Other Perspectives Alternatives?
Each one of us He bets his life on a certain image of reality.

Therefore we should Ask us about this image:
Do you feel deep and intuitively what is "right"? And is it still the case at As time goes by?
Our Modern Vision of the world may seem coherent to us; but on the contrary, it is fragmented and artificial, and lacks any sense of communion, solidarity and gratitude.

The current perception dominant, largely inherited from Western science, does not He has an understanding of correspondence.

We have placed ourselves in a dualism of "the objective versus the subjective," in which he has to be one or the other, but there can be no correspondence - a Participation - involving both.

In truth, it doesn't exist No absolute: it is never one or the other (black or white; objective) or subjective).

These distinctions are inventions of human models of thought and as such, more than anything else, they represent our state of reasoning.

If reality is a puzzles, our overactive rational minds just They have deliberately scrambled their pieces.

Every knowledge system that we adhere to and support is only a specific form of expression according to time and place. No specific shape or joint is absolute. Form our perceptions of reality based on our articulations (speculations or assumptions).

We represent reality in specific ways, as part of our human experience, and We do this through our cultures and our systems philosophical and belief. We interpret reality according to patterns that represent our thought states.

For most of the people are almost impossible to understand beyond the boundaries of understanding of each one.

These models of interpretation of reality have shaped Our philosophies and cosmologies during past ages - from the Greek mind to the Renaissance - and yet we continue lacking a cosmology that captures the heart of the dynamics of the cosmos in which we exist.

In Human Civilization Each epoch demands a corresponding cosmology in which framing; and that also guides their ethos.

We are currently, and We have been, for several decades, in the phase in which We need a new structure of reality that serves us better and not only as a planetary civilization but also as a rudimentary one space traveler.

The insufficiency of Our current models have led us to a period of general disturbance and confusion, dissatisfaction and uncertainty.

And in the end it all comes back to Consciousness...

As Terence McKenna once said:
"We need to explore really the problem of consciousness, because as the Human beings gaining power are becoming the factor in decisive on the planet. The Questions 'Is the human being good?' and then, if The answer is yes, 'what's it for?' "The Archaic Revival
We need a new one Cosmology - a new view of the world - if only for To find out what humanity is for.

We have yet to fully recognize that the way of man It is a path of creative transcendence through evolution conscious. The journey ahead of us is unfolding at a We are all around us - we are in it - and therefore we have no choice but to accept the tour.

The world is already intrinsically in energized connectivity; According to science Every molecule, atom and quark are connected by a quantum Non-local energy field (action remotely).

But in spite of this scientific narrative we continue to maintain a worldview that understands life as separate, isolated, with concrete limits and tangible thresholds. The only way to see this is by alienating the soul human.

The question is not whether but when will we move to transform human consciousness with the in order to correspond to the new perspectives.

So the first Question is:
"When are we going to literally change our minds?"

A change mental
God Decided descend to Earth to take a look at how his creation.

He approached and happened to look at a large tree full of monkeys Howler. As he looked down, one of the monkeys looked up and saw it.

The monkey became enthusiastic and began to shout:
"I see God... I see God!
None of the others Monkeys paid attention to him. Some thought that He had gone mad, or perhaps he was a religious fanatic. They went about their daily lives, gathering food, taking care of their young, fighting each other, etcetera, etcetera. Not getting listened to Sometime, our monkey decided to try to get God's attention, and said:
"God! Almighty, you are the benefactor, the merciful, Please help me!
Instantly, the monkey He became a man who lived in his own community human. Everything changed, except One thing: the monkey's mind, which immediately noticed that could be a problem.
"Well, thank God, but what about my mind?"

"That," said God, "you will have to change it yourself."
Historians have pointed out that for about five hundred years - the period from which 500 to 1000 A.D. - the Western human psyche showed an absence of almost total signs of internalization.

Inside the culture socio-religious prevailing, there was little interest in investigating the mind. However, monasticism, beginning in 1000 A.D. Going forward, he showed signs of internalization and of his relationship with morals and ethics.

It is suggested that this It proved anathema to orthodox religious institutions, especially the Catholic Church, as it resulted in a Increased Gnostic experience.

Around that time Various religious sects arose that contained in their teachings elements of Gnosticism and Manichaeism and which were dealt with as if they were the greatest heresies. These include cults such as the Bogomils and the Cathars.

By the testimonies of first-hand that have survived, it seems that the The Gnostics of these sects were based on deep states of Internalization and vision that greatly concerned the Church Orthodox.

As a result, and In order to combat heresy directly, at the end of the twelfth century, established the Holy Inquisition, a system of of the Roman Catholic Church. It has even been suggested that the Inquisition can be considered as the origin of the state modern police force.

That is to say, the masses are It keeps them oppressed through various forms of violence masquerading as cultural institutions.

The total mind of humanity has often reacted aggressively, sometimes perplexedly, when the essential trends, which have often been labeled pagan, mythical, heretical, or even as a real taboo.

And such repressions They tend to re-emerge in other ways or in other ways.

But the real heresy has been suppression and denial in Western society. Such visionary, sacred, and elemental inner tendencies Gnostics.

Over the centuries The repressed archaic energy has arisen in a variety of ways, and in some cases it has been repressed. a culture that does not contemplate a place for the expression of the Inner psychic visions, these can be detrimental to the person.

Most commonly, it is usually It is possible that our societies "drug" us socially towards the consensual reality.

According to a sacred path, The course of the perennial wisdom traditions has been unleash the mind. So far it has been the route less traveled.

We live our lives with the knowledge that as human beings we are something inherently knowable; that we can investigate ourselves and discover ourselves.
  • Anthropologists They tell us about the development of the being and of societies Human.
  •
  • Sociologists They describe our social and cultural behavior.
  •
  • Biologists They study human organisms, including us.
  •
  • Archaeologists describe the cultures and human behaviors of the past remote.
And yet we have a Very little knowledge of how to explore human becoming:
how to understand and develop our inner states.
It wasn't until recently in the 20th century when, in the West, we were given socially validated tools to open up, look within, and explore our minds.

By means of the psychoanalysis, depth psychology and then transpersonal psychology, for example. In the end, we have been able to encourage the deep mind to emerge. When we truly examine what lies within us We find that there is an internal, almost eternal desire that aspires to to a certain form of transcendence.

Humanity has a An innate impulse to transcend, to go towards something that is still incapable to articulate.

As a species we have Traveled to outer space, we've mapped the depths From our great oceans, we have peered into the heart of the atom nuclear power, and we have witnessed the flash of the Higgs boson, "the God":
But we stay in To a large extent, they are ignorant of the inner world of the human being.
This is the non-sphere where consciousness meets the soul, and in the that communion with the intangible cosmos is negotiated.

The ancient "mind of monkey" has kept us isolated from a living, sacred, cosmos, as well as a how it has turned us away from ourselves. Among us, the mind of monkey has been the real heresy and now we are compelled to Leave it behind as we venture into a new kind of mind.

Welcome to the participatory awareness.

Towards the

We cannot truly know our reality as it is Because when we think of it, through the very act of observation, we have already transformed it.

Another way of saying it is that we are not part of an observable reality but a participatory one. That is, consciousness (and by inference our mind) is in the everything we observe and understand.

We're intertwined in the very structure of our 'reality' and of everything we perceive with our senses, and that includes the Cosmos. What we can understand about the cosmos comes from our own consciousness unfolding.

So nothing can to happen in "our reality" without, above all, our participation.

This forces us to recognize that what constitutes the mind is not not only the "extended mind" but also the interacting consciousness with and participates in our environment.

Interconnection and completeness are aspects of participatory consciousness that, by their Nature itself is integral.

This is the reason why Which is currently the most important part of the world's most important thinking. ease of becoming part of our modern patterns of thought.

The human psyche (our sense of self) seeks wholeness, and the sense of Separation from a meaningful reality is a root cause of the malaise and fragmentation that exist today in our world.

A world that curtails the Psyche, the soul and the unconscious is a world that separates the self from the self. man of his essential nature.

The participatory state of consciousness can also be seen in the imagination poetics - in the world of romanticism - and in the expressions of Compassionate identification with our environment.

Reclaiming the integral mind of participatory consciousness is not It means that we have to abolish everything we have achieved so far. now.

It's about restoring and understanding a concrete wisdom that can help us transcend a modern worldview that is no longer adequate, and sustainable for our future.

A cosmology and a worldview in which we have a different understanding of the wholeness and interconnectedness, can help us at last to understand that We never just "receive" reality, but rather we "receive" reality. We articulate by participating within it, and in return to ourselves reality responds to us.

We're in a relationship of mutual feedback and response with our reality; And that It makes our participation in reality a responsibility. The Genuine participation is also a form of empathy and, unless No matter how responsible we are for it, we can't really participate in the world.

To put it another way In this way, we can say that true reality does not reveal itself to the unprepared mind.

The Cosmos Reveals Itself to the observer only slightly; But it shows many more of its secrets to the conscious participant. Non-participation in our reality - e.g. thinking of ourselves as objects offline - is one of the root causes of our deep sense of inner distortion.

It's as if we're depart from our homeland...

We have entered a period of social history in which many of our old thought patterns and ways of looking at the world. world is beginning to dismantle.

This reconfiguration It has the potential to be an incredible opportunity, as well as a drive disruption and uncertainty.

Maybe that's the reason why that, now that our social and cultural institutions are facing the waves of disturbing change that are coming, we are feeling So many insecurities.

Emancipating the mind from the Old habits can bring us both freedom and fear of Moving away from what is safe and what is known.

As Saadi said, 13th-century Persian poet:
"In the depths From the sea there are incomparable riches. But if you're looking for security, it's on the shore."
We must venture into the sea, as heretics of the new mind...

Heretics of the

The true history of human civilization on this planet is a history of heresy, because they have always articulated the new forms of change and vision.

Human development and development social progress has come about through the continual refinement of society. consciousness.

In times of change to It was often the heretics who spoke unreservedly of the sacred and essential truths within humanity. And when the society burned a heretic was because he feared that his own archaic orthodox structures were weak and vulnerable to the Crumbling.

The history of our Diverse human cultures have been built on the history of the Evolutionary heresies.

As they emerge new interpretations, they are usually absorbed by the status quo and transports them. When enough new heresies arise, Finally, the culture responds by adopting the new understanding and thereby evolving.

For centuries, Western civilization was the epicenter of a energy of development that manifested itself in the periods of the industrial and technological revolutions.

This impulse to development has now spread to the entire planet.

The stage of the Western civilization was a springtime to bring mankind towards the threshold of a planetary civilization, with diverse cultures globally.

Our present age is in transition to a planetary civilization and this signals the openness and access to great potential opportunities and wisdom. But it won't happen overnight, because the change needs time to assimilate new perspectives and Understandings.

It's a change that requires the entry of new generations with their patterns of evolved thoughts.

This is the reason why that more heretics are now required:
To take a step to the and engage with a tailor-made participatory consciousness waves of change are coming into our societies and through of our popular cultures.
Heretics and Heresies are all one.

The sacred heresy of the Genuine revolution is a powerful heresy and yet loving and Compassionate. It is to this essential current of the sacred that Many wisdom traditions refer to and seek log in.

To go forward, Everything must learn to transcend itself. Heresy Sacred is a dynamic force of transcendence.

As long as there are beings living humans, perplexed by the wonders of the world and seeking the meaning of their lives, this sacred energy will never be absent from the world...
