🔥 PART 6 — HOW TO RECEIVE THE FIRE OF THE KING
HOST (merciful, direct):
You don’t buy the fire.
You don’t fake the fire.
You fall before the One who baptizes in it.
Jesus is the only One with the authority.
Luke 12:49 —
“I am come to send fire on the earth…”
Ask Him:
🔥 To purge your mind 🔥 To purify your heart 🔥 To anoint your voice 🔥 To refine your walk
The fire will hurt… but it will heal.
And once you carry it, you become a torch in a dark world.
“Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…” — 1 Samuel 15:22
“I will have mercy, and not sacrifice…” — Hosea 6:6
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15

HOST (solemn, sincere):
Religion loves ritual.
Men build altars, bring offerings, sing songs, and give money…
Yet still walk in rebellion.
But what does God truly desire?
Not just your worship — your walk.
Not just your gifts — your heart.
Not just sacrifice — but obedience.
Today, we will uncover the ancient pattern:
When obedience is missing, sacrifice is meaningless.
And when obedience is present — it becomes the greatest offering of all.
🔥 PART 1 — THE FIRST REJECTION OF SACRIFICE
HOST (clear, instructive):
Genesis 4:3–5 —
“And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect…”
Why did God reject Cain’s sacrifice?
Because it was offered from disobedience, not from faith.
Hebrews 11:4 —
“By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice…”
Cain brought the work of his hands.
But Abel obeyed the pattern:
blood
repentance
humility
From the beginning — obedience set the foundation.
🔥 PART 2 — KING SAUL’S RELIGIOUS DISOBEDIENCE
HOST (cutting):
1 Samuel 15:13–15 —
Saul spared the Amalekite king and the best of the animals, claiming they were for sacrifice.
But God said in verse 11:
“It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king…”
Then comes the prophet’s rebuke:
“To obey is better than sacrifice.”
Saul thought partial obedience was enough.
But partial obedience is total rebellion.
God doesn’t want your offering if your heart is disobedient.

🔥 PART 3 — THE DANGER OF SACRIFICIAL RELIGION
HOST (bold):
Hosea 6:6 —
“For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”
God is not impressed by:
❌ Church attendance ❌ Tithes ❌ Long prayers ❌ Religious showmanship
Isaiah 1:11,13 —
“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me?… Bring no more vain oblations…”
Obedience is not what religion teaches —
It teaches performance.
But obedience is what proves relationship.
🔥 PART 4 — JESUS TAUGHT OBEDIENCE AS LOVE
HOST (lifting voice):
John 14:15 —
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Love and obedience cannot be separated.
The Pharisees had sacrifice —
But no love.
The widow with two mites had love —
And obedience… even in her lack.
Jesus obeyed the Father unto death.
Not for performance — but for purpose.
Philippians 2:8 —
“He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death…”
Our King’s obedience opened the door to our salvation.

🔥 PART 5 — MODERN SACRIFICE WITHOUT SUBMISSION
HOST (exposing):
Today’s church sacrifices:
Time.
Talent.
Treasure.
But it won’t submit to God’s Word.
It preaches grace without surrender.
Faith without fruit.
Worship without walk.
Matthew 7:21 —
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter… but he that doeth the will of my Father…”
Jesus doesn’t want noise.
He wants obedience.
And without it — your sacrifice stinks in His nostrils.
🔥 PART 6 — OBEDIENCE IS THE PUREST WORSHIP

Romans 12:1 —
“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God…”
