"What is SHIP?" is designed to increase knowledge of the purpose and structure of the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) and provide the ability to identify SHIP roles and give an understanding of the important points-of contact to accomplish the goals of SHIP to improve health by reducing risk factors that contribute to chronic diseases, resulting in reduced health care costs.   

Course Duration: 30 - 45 minutes
Course Objectives:  
Recognize the purpose and structure of the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP)       
Identify your role in SHIP and important points of contact   
Target Audience: SHIP Coordinators, SHIP Grantees, External Partners, Community Partners, Internal Onboarding, General Public and Policymakers
Intended Outcomes of this course are to provide:
Knowledge of the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP)
Inspire and provide insight into how SHIP can be used within their community
Offer resources and important points-of-contact to carryout the work of SHIP Â
