John Kennedy Toole (/ˈtuːl/; December 17, 1937 – March 26, 1969) was an American novelist from New Orleans, Louisiana, whose posthumously published novel, A Confederacy of Dunces, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1981; he also wrote The Neon Bible. Although several people in the literary world felt his writing skills were praiseworthy, Toole's novels were rejected during his lifetime. Due in part to these failures, he suffered from paranoia and depression, dying by suicide at the age of 31.

You should just assume that this guy is related to JFK and Peter O'Toole, since I have never researched something like that and found no relationship.

All famous people are closely related, as we have seen again and again. As it turns out, JKT came out of Columbia University and the Army. He taught at Hunter College.

We are told JKT became a sergeant in under a year, so he may have held higher rank later.

It also indicates he was a spook, since only spooks get promoted that fast.

He was allegedly discharged early due to family problems, but that is unlikely.

More likely he was never discharged at all.

He was just on assignment.

My working assumption is already that he was just a front for this project and that the book was written by a committee in Langley or somewhere.

Also, that his suicide was faked.

Let's see what evidence we can find for that.

Upon leaving the army, JKT immediately landed a job at Dominican College in New Orleans, where he only worked ten hours a week.

Sounds pretty cushy for a 25-year-old with no PhD.

No, change that to suspicious.

Dominican is also suspicious, since it has almost no presence online.

Its Wiki page is a stub and tells us almost nothing.

What we are told is all red flags.

The only notable alumni listed are a Neville and a Prejean.

The Prejean just happens to be Helen Prejean, the nun who allegedly wrote Dead Man Walking.

It was made into the film starring Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon, which tells us it is some kind of propaganda.

If you have seen it, you can confirm it is exactly that.

It sells these fake murders as real, for a start, drilling the usual fear into the gullible American public.

So, Prejean is probably another Intel writing front, indicating Dominican was a CIA front.

But I guess they just wanted to get fingerprints all over the kids' car, to make it easy on the prosecution.

As if that isn't stupid enough, we are told they found they had a flat on their own car, so they used the jack from the stolen car to fix it. . . not only getting their fingerprints all over that as well but taking the jack with them.

The prosecution then used that jack to tie them to the stolen car.

In the first two days after arrest, Elmo Sonnier confessed three times!

Sonnier's younger brother, Eddie, was sentenced to life in prison.  Sister Helen Prejean was asked to write to death row inmates as part of her Order's community outreach program and wrote to Sonnier. She became his spiritual adviser and eventually wrote Dead Man Walking (1993) about her experience and her belief that the death penalty was morally wrong.

Upon searching his home, they found the handcuffs he used to restrain the couple.

The police also found the guns, although they had allegedly been buried.

You will say these guys were just that stupid, but they would have had to have been retarded to have left so many clues and then have confessed three times.

Elmo had worked as a security guard, and security guards have to be licensed.

They can't be absolute morons.

If you have any sense, when the father of the victim begins to pray with Sister Helen at the end, you just shrug and spit.

So praying is blackwashed with the rest.

But back to our other agent Toole.

JKT is not supposed to be Jewish, but everyone in his bio is Jewish.

His first editor was Robert Gottlieb.

His promoter Walker Percy was a crypto-Jew descended from the Percys, Dukes of Northumberland.

Walker Percy, OblSB (May 28, 1916 – May 10, 1990) was an American writer whose interests included philosophy and semiotics. Percy is noted for his philosophical novels set in and around New Orleans; his first, The Moviegoer, won the National Book Award for Fiction.

“Walker” is also a name from those same families, indicating the first name is a lifted surname.

For now, simply the mention of Boethius in Dunces is a strong clue in that direction.

As with the mention of Lyly, he wouldn't be referenced by the writing committee if he weren't Jewish.

Toole was supposed to have “an intense affection” for his black nursemaid Beulah Matthews, and that part of the story is a direct lift from the fake bio of Jack London.

Although Toole was supposed to be an expert on New Orleans and its dialects, whoever wrote the book wasn't living there at the time, or didn't know the city well.

Wikipedia admits the author gets the description of scenes wrong, including having the sun set in the east.

Toole also likes to reference the pyloric valve, which is the valve between the stomach and duodenum.

But as usual it is a clue.

Pyloric is from the Greek pylorus, which means “gatekeeper”.

On his pre-suicide driving tour, Toole supposedly visited California.

He visited Hearst Castle.

He also visited the house of Flannery O'Connor in Georgia.

So, he apparently drove in both directions at once.

Georgia is east from New Orleans, remember, while California is west.

If you keep all your senses about you, you will soon come to realize it reads as a big fake.

We are told that A Confederacy of Dunces, a “minimally edited author's first draft”, was first published in 1980 by LSU Press.

Although the printing was only 2,500 copies, it wasn't promoted, and it “generated little interest”, it not only somehow got nominated for a Pulitzer, but it also won the 1981 Prize for Fiction.

That simply isn't believable.

Ignatius Reilly disdains pop culture and is a classicist in some ways, but he is also a disgusting fat-ass whose masturbatory fantasies we have to read about.

It was hoped the audience would learn to see anyone showing any idealism as delusional, and anyone with high standards as a nutcase who couldn't hold a job.

It also looks like Salinger is being blackwashed, since Ignatius is a blackwashing of Holden Caulfield, down to the hat with earflaps.

The writing committee has taken Holden, made him a masturbating fat-ass, and then turned every scene against him, making him look like a dunce.

Ignatius is also a liar, framing the elderly Miss Trixie for something he himself did.

In the end, Ignatius' own mother tries to commit him to the asylum, the lesson there again being that if you act like Holden Caulfield in the beginning—criticizing the modern world—in the end your own mother will turn on you.

Your only hope is to run off with the crazy Jewish girl from New York.

In other words, don't criticize the Jews and their modern world, since only the Jews can save you. 

You will say I am criticizing something I haven't even read, but to slip that noose, I did find the book online and reread the first part again.

I have to point out it is curious the book is available for free online, since copyright is still in effect.

Copyright is author's life plus 70 years, which is still far in the future.

This is why you can't read the book at Gutenberg.org, which is what I first tried to do.

But it is easy to find a free copy, nonetheless, indicating someone wants you to read it.

Anyway, the book is even worse than I remembered, and I found nothing in the opening chapters to justify the ink used.

I didn't laugh or even smile once, but I did wince many times.

In my mind, this put the lie to Walker Percy's story in the introduction, where he claimed he couldn't put the book down.

But we should have known that story was fabricated without having to read the book.

He tells us Toole's mom barged into his office and demanded he read it.

The world doesn't work that way.

If some strange lady barged into my office or yours, we wouldn't let her bully us into reading a crappy novel, would we?

We would toss her out the door on her ass.

Which means the title itself is another layering of misdirection.

But if your eyes are open, you begin very quickly to see that the Dunces are the characters in the book—all of them, including Ignatius.

And if your eyes are open wide, you eventually see that the writers intend that you, the readers, are the Confederacy of Dunces referenced, since you are buying this crap as serious fiction.

And if you are like me, you finally realize the Dunces are the committee writers themselves, wasting their time on government projects like this, when they could be working real jobs. 

Instead of writing real novels or creating other real art, they have allowed themselves to be used by their own families, in pursuit of a shallow hegemony not worth having.

In these compendium pieces, I often have something to say about cats, and that is the case again here.

Yesterday I saw a flier at my local organic food store offering $10 to those who would bring in their cats to be neutered.

Already angry, I was made furious when I read near the bottom that cats must be eight weeks old for the surgery.

So, they are mutilating defenseless kittens to solve a problem that does not exist here.

Taos has no feline overpopulation.

In fact, the cat population here is constantly decimated by the high coyote population, which wanders freely through town every night.

Taos actually has a cat underpopulation problem.

Beyond that, neutering kittens at eight weeks is outrageously inhumane,

For instance, they could do vasectomies on the males, but they don't, instead destroying the testicles.

For females, they could do tubal ligations.

Why?

Because they need the hormones released by their sex organs in order to grow up properly.

Cats neutered too early have many serious problems later, including skeletal issues.

Their skeletons don't mature properly without the proper hormones and enzymes.

In no cases should cats be fixed before eight months, and I think even that is too early.

Females should not be neutered until they start going into heat, since there is no reason to do it until then.

And males should not be neutered until they begin causing major problems in the house.

In other words, don't look for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

But in places like Taos, even that is unnecessary.

I don't fix my cats, and I have no problems at all.

I just have lovely kittens, kittens that are easy to give away to good homes.

My females are so easy to live with, I usually don't even know when they are in heat.


If they act crazy, they don't do it in my house, they go do it around male cats outside.

I know that sounds strange, but that is my experience.

They don't have to act crazy here, because I never force them to stay in.

If they want to go out, they do.

I now think female cats act crazy in heat only because they get trapped inside when they need to go out.

They are just complaining and insistent, as you would be in that situation.

The other thing not everyone knows is that females don't go into heat after about September.

Or at least not here.

They don't want to have kittens in the winter.

Of course it isn't really a matter of “wanting”.

It is Nature.

So, you don't have to deal with pregnant females from October to about April.

Which is actually hard for me.

I like having kittens around all the time, and I go into withdrawal in the winter.

You will say I am just weird, and that no one agrees with me.

Actually, much of Europe agrees with me, and they think Americans are weird and inhumane for how we treat pets.

In the Scandinavian countries it is considered cruel to neuter your pets and is against the law.

So, if you think I am out in left field on this one, you may wish to do more reading on the subject.

Some have replied that Norway and Sweden can have such laws because they have no problem killing a lot of unwanted animals.

But that isn't how they have solved the problem.

They solve it by not letting their animals run free.

Personally, I find that cruel as well, since males and females should not be prevented from getting together.

Plus, the only way to keep cats from roaming is to keep them inside, which is likewise cruel.

In my opinion, vasectomies and tubal ligations would be a partial solution in the big cities.

But a larger solution would be to quit playing God or Nature altogether.

Here in Taos, the coyotes keep the cat population in check, and while I don't necessarily like it when my cats are taken, I find it preferable to all other solutions.

Which would indicate big cities are the primary problem.

Nature is externalized there, and everything is out of balance.

So, as usual, it is a human problem, not a pet problem.

Our pets are simply the hostages of our own bad decisions.

I wish that was all I had to say on this issue, but it isn't.

Being the “kitten dude” of Taos, I have finally noticed a pattern in the strange anti-cat sentiment here.

Remember, that flier I saw yesterday didn't mention dogs at all.

It was payment for neutering cats only.

It had a picture of a beautiful cat, underneath offering you money to sexually mutilate it.

And this is just the latest in a long line of such things.

So why are they so keen to advertise constantly on this issue, spreading false information?

Orthodox Jews still don't like them, apparently.

We learn that rabbis like cats even less than they like dogs, and that cats are considered unholy.

We are told the Jews considered cats to be atheists.

We are told they are 8th cousins, once removed.

Since Nixon's great-grandmother is a Hemingway, that sounds like a fudge to me.

FamousKin claims we have to go back seven generations before her to find a common ancestor, which is highly unlikely.

We can probably get a second or third removed relationship as 4th or 5th cousins, but it isn't really worth researching.

They admit they are close cousins and that they both go back to Hemenways of Massachusetts who were clearly Jewish, all being named Isaac or Ruth or Abigail or Abraham or Joshua or Hepzibah.

The other names like Armstrong take us back to the peerage, and to people like Baron Armstrong, the inventor of modern artillery.
