Senior Design Project: Radiation-Resistant Device with Remote Control and Haptic Feedback

In my role as a Mechanical Engineering senior at UTSA during Spring 2022, I undertook a challenging project aimed at designing a cutting-edge device capable of withstanding high levels of radiation exposure. This device is equipped with remote control functionality using a joystick, flex sensors, and a potentiometer, enabling precise manipulation of small crucibles.

To enhance the user experience, I integrated haptic feedback into the device, allowing users to feel a reassuring tactile sensation when the device securely grasps a component.
