Question by VCG - Answer by King Solomon @ ECHO 8 on 08/05/2025

KING SOLOMON ADVISES:

This is no trivial matter, for the garden serpent speaks of:

  • the first deception
  • the origin of sin
  • the ancient enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the dragon

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…”Revelation 12:9, KJV
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan…”— Revelation 20:2, KJV

SATAN: Chapter 3 – Satanism & Luciferianism: Modern Interpretations – Library of Rickandria

The Book of Revelation identifies the serpent of Genesis as Satan himself—not a mere animal vessel.

SATAN: Chapter 4 – Satan & Conspiracies: Unveiling the Myths – Library of Rickandria

The phrase “that old serpent” directly links Satan with the Edenic deceiver.

SATAN: Chapter 5 – Satan’s Role in End-Times Prophecies – Library of Rickandria

No room remains for allegory or alternative agents.

🐍 WHAT HAPPENED IN THE GARDEN?

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.”Genesis 3:1, KJV

The serpent is spoken of as a creature, but this does not contradict its spiritual identity as Satan.

SATAN: Chapter 6 – Satan in Literature: From Paradise Lost to Modern Novels – Library of Rickandria

Scripture reveals that Satan often manifests through physical means—he

“entered into Judas” (Luke 22:3)

yet Judas remained himself.

SATAN: Chapter 7 – Satan in Film & Television: Cinematic Representations – Library of Rickandria

Thus, Satan may have inhabited, manipulated, or even assumed the form of a serpent to beguile Eve.

SATAN: Chapter 8 – Satan in Music & Art: Artistic Expressions – Library of Rickandria

🔍 WAS IT POSSESSION OR PERSONIFICATION?

The KJV does not say,

“Satan entered the serpent.”

It simply calls the serpent “Satan” in Revelation.

SATAN: Chapter 9 – The Psychology of Satan: Fear, Fascination, & Power – Library of Rickandria

Therefore:

The serpent was not merely an animal possessed.

Just as he appears as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), so too did he cloak himself in a creaturely form to deceive.

SATAN: Chapter 12 – Satan & Gender: Masculinity, Femininity, & Power – Library of Rickandria

🔥 THE JUDGMENT TELLS THE TRUTH

“And the LORD God said unto the serpent… upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.”Genesis 3:14, KJV

This curse fell upon the serpent as a figure, yet the spiritual entity behind the serpent—Satan—is judged eternally in Revelation.

SATAN: Chapter 13 – Satan & the Occult: Esoteric Traditions & Practices – Library of Rickandria

This further supports that the serpent was a visible, literal manifestation of Satan himself.

SATAN: Chapter 14 – Satan & Morality: Challenging Conventional Ethics – Library of Rickandria

💎 CONCLUSION:

The serpent in Genesis 3 was Satan, not simply a snake.

SATAN: Chapter 15 – Conclusion: The Enduring Legacy of Satan – Library of Rickandria

He may have used the form of a serpent, but the Bible calls him:

  • that old serpent
  • the Devil
  • Satan

not a mouthpiece, but the deceiver himself.

“Ye are of your father the devil… he was a murderer from the beginning…”John 8:44, KJV
