1. Want to Be Saved? (Romans 10:9–10)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9 (KJV)
This is the foundational question of eternity:
Are you saved?
Are you saved?
Before there can be a Bride, there must be a betrothal—a covenant agreement between the believer and Christ.
The Word of God declares that salvation is not achieved by works, rituals, or religious affiliation.
It is a gift received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
To be saved is to be:
- redeemed
- forgiven
- sealed
as part of the Body of Christ—the Bride.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." — Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)
The blood of Jesus is the dowry—the purchase price paid by the Bridegroom to claim His Bride.
“...the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” — Acts 20:28 (KJV)
The moment a sinner repents, believes the gospel, and confesses Jesus as Lord, a heavenly transaction occurs.
That soul is born again, their name written in the Book of Life, and the Holy Ghost enters as a seal of promise (Ephesians 1:13–14).
That soul is born again, their name written in the Book of Life, and the Holy Ghost enters as a seal of promise (Ephesians 1:13–14).
Salvation is not just an escape from hell—it is an entrance into covenant union with Christ.

2. The Prayer Jesus Taught
“After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name…” — Matthew 6:9 (KJV)
This prayer—commonly called “The Lord’s Prayer”—is not a vain repetition or ritual formula.
It is a divine pattern, a heavenly blueprint given by the Bridegroom to His Bride, teaching her how to speak with her Father-in-law, the Almighty God.

Let us examine it line by line,
for each word is a revelation:
for each word is a revelation:
“Our Father which art in heaven”
— This declares relationship.
He is not a distant deity; He is our Father.
This is the language of adoption and covenant (Romans 8:15).
“Hallowed be thy name”
— The Bride honors His name.
She reverences the One who has called her, redeemed her, and given her His identity.
His name is holy, not to be taken lightly or in vain.
The Tetragrammaton Trap: Exposing the YHWH Deception & Defending the Name of JESUS – Library of Rickandria
“Thy kingdom come”
— The Bride longs for the coming of the Bridegroom, for His government, for His rule, for the wedding feast.
This is a cry for the manifestation of Revelation 19.
“Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”
— The Bride yields to the will of her Husband, just as Christ submitted to the Father.
She aligns her life with His divine plan.
“Give us this day our daily bread”
— This is dependence.
The Bride is not self-sufficient.
She feeds on the bread of life (John 6:35) and trusts God for provision.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors”
— This is the purity of the Bride.
She lives in constant repentance, walking in the grace she gives to others.
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”
— This is protection.
The Bride knows she is in a war and asks the Father to preserve her for the day of union.
— This is protection.
The Bride knows she is in a war and asks the Father to preserve her for the day of union.
“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
— This is praise.
The Bride ends as she began:
exalting her King.
This prayer is not just to be recited.
It is to be lived—a daily conversation between the Bride and her Lord.
It shapes the character of the Bride,
keeping her:
It is to be lived—a daily conversation between the Bride and her Lord.
It shapes the character of the Bride,
keeping her:
- watchful
- humble
- dependent
and clothed in reverence.
Do you pray as Jesus taught?
Not with lips only, but with a bridal heart?
Not with lips only, but with a bridal heart?
3. The Prophetic Wedding Model
To understand the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Revelation 19, one must return to the ancient Jewish wedding tradition.
The Lord used these customs to paint a divine picture of Christ and His Bride—a mystery hidden in plain sight.
The Lord used these customs to paint a divine picture of Christ and His Bride—a mystery hidden in plain sight.
There were three prophetic phases to every Hebrew wedding.
Each reflects the timeline of redemption and the ultimate reunion between Heaven and the faithful.
Each reflects the timeline of redemption and the ultimate reunion between Heaven and the faithful.
"For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a great mystery:
but I speak concerning Christ and the church." — Ephesians 5:31–32 (KJV)
Let us uncover each phase:
🔹 Phase 1 – The Betrothal
The marriage begins with a covenant agreement between the bridegroom and the bride’s family.
A dowry is paid to the bride’s father or directly to the bride.
A legal union is formed, but the bride and groom do not yet live together.
During this time, the bride prepares herself, and the groom departs to build a place for her.
“I go to prepare a place for you... I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” — John 14:2–3 (KJV)
This betrothal represents our salvation through Christ—when we enter covenant by His blood.
🔹 Phase 2 – The Return of the Bridegroom
When the place is ready, the groom returns—often unexpectedly.
A shout and trumpet announce his arrival. He comes with his friends, in a joyous procession.
The bride must be ready, with her lamp burning (see Matthew 25).
This is the rapture of the Church.
The Bridegroom returns for His Bride.
Only those who are watching go in.
The Bridegroom returns for His Bride.
Only those who are watching go in.
“At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” — Matthew 25:6 (KJV)
🔹 Phase 3 – The Marriage Supper
After the Bride is taken to the groom’s house, the celebration begins.
A great feast is held—days of joy, music, wine, and covenant completion.
The Bride and Groom are now fully joined, and their union is witnessed by all.
This points to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven during the Tribulation on earth. It is the climax of union between Christ and His spotless Bride.
“Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.” — Revelation 19:9 (KJV)
These three stages show us the timeline of redemption:
You are saved (Betrothal).
You are caught up (Return).
You are joined in glory (Supper).
To ignore this pattern is to miss the mystery.
To embrace it is to walk as the wise virgin, filled with oil and watching.
To embrace it is to walk as the wise virgin, filled with oil and watching.
4. Phase 1: The Betrothal – Covenant & Dowry
In the Jewish tradition, the betrothal (kiddushin) was not a casual promise—it was a binding legal contract.
The bride and groom were considered legally married, though they had not yet come together.
Breaking this covenant required a formal divorce.
The bride and groom were considered legally married, though they had not yet come together.
Breaking this covenant required a formal divorce.
So it is with us and Christ.
The moment we confess Christ, repent, and believe in His resurrection, we enter into a binding covenant with the Bridegroom.
This is the new birth—our entrance into the betrothal phase of the divine marriage.
This is the new birth—our entrance into the betrothal phase of the divine marriage.
“I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 11:2 (KJV)
🔑 The Covenant
This covenant is sealed not with ink, but with blood.
“This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” — Matthew 26:28 (KJV)
Jesus is both the Bridegroom and the Lamb.
He offers His own blood as the price for His Bride—purchased from death and sin, transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light.
He offers His own blood as the price for His Bride—purchased from death and sin, transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light.
“Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)
🎁 The Dowry
In ancient customs, a dowry was paid by the groom’s father to the bride’s family—a symbol of
- value
- honor
- commitment
Our heavenly Father paid the greatest dowry ever offered: the blood of His only begotten Son.
“...the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” — Acts 20:28 (KJV)
No greater love has ever been shown.
The dowry proves the Groom’s seriousness, and the Bride’s identity is forever changed.
She is no longer her own.
The dowry proves the Groom’s seriousness, and the Bride’s identity is forever changed.
She is no longer her own.
🕊️ The Waiting Period
After the betrothal, the groom would leave to prepare a home—often building an addition to his father’s house.
The Bride, meanwhile,
would:
The Bride, meanwhile,
would:
- wait
- purify
- prepare
“I go to prepare a place for you... I will come again.” — John 14:2–3 (KJV)
This is where the Church is right now.
We are betrothed, not yet in the fullness of union, but waiting for the Groom’s return.
We must remain faithful, vigilant, and undefiled by the world.
We are betrothed, not yet in the fullness of union, but waiting for the Groom’s return.
We must remain faithful, vigilant, and undefiled by the world.
The Bride who falls into love with the world forgets her Groom.
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?” — James 4:4 (KJV)
This is not the time to flirt with Babylon.
The midnight cry is coming.
The Groom will appear suddenly.
Only those found:
The midnight cry is coming.
The Groom will appear suddenly.
Only those found:
- pure
- watching
- ready
will enter in.
Has your betrothal been sealed by faith and repentance?
Are you keeping yourself unspotted from the world?
Are you keeping yourself unspotted from the world?
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” — Jude 1:21 (KJV)
If yes, then you are espoused to Christ.
The dowry has been paid.
The covenant is eternal.
The dowry has been paid.
The covenant is eternal.
Prepare yourself, beloved.
The Groom is coming.
The Groom is coming.
5. Phase 2: The Return – The Midnight Cry
In ancient Jewish weddings,
the groom’s return for his bride was marked by:
the groom’s return for his bride was marked by:
- suddenness
- shouting
- celebration
He would come unannounced, often at night, to surprise his beloved.
A trumpet would sound, and a torch-lit procession would wind through the streets as he took her to the place he had prepared.
This was the most anticipated moment in the entire marriage process.
And this is what Jesus referred to in the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1–13).
And this is what Jesus referred to in the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1–13).
“At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” — Matthew 25:6 (KJV)
Just as the virgins waited, some with oil and some without, so the Church waits now.
The second phase in God’s prophetic wedding model is the return of Christ for His Bride—the Rapture.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)
🕯️ The Midnight Cry
The cry comes in the darkness of a wicked world.
The Bride must be found ready, filled with oil (the Holy Ghost), and watching.
The Bride must be found ready, filled with oil (the Holy Ghost), and watching.
The foolish virgins slumbered without oil—symbolic of churches and believers who have the name of Christ but lack the indwelling Spirit, or walk in carnality.
“Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.” — Matthew 25:7–8 (KJV)
But it was too late.
When the Bridegroom came, the wise entered in, and the door was shut.
“Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.” — Matthew 25:11–12 (KJV)
Let this be a solemn warning:
Not every professing believer will enter.
Only those who are ready.
Not every professing believer will enter.
Only those who are ready.
🔔 The Trumpet Sound
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump... the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” — 1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV)
This trumpet is not symbolic—it is literal.
It will signal the instant transformation and catching away of the Church.
It will signal the instant transformation and catching away of the Church.
The dead in Christ rise first.
The living are changed and caught up.
The Groom receives His Bride in the air.
This is not the Second Coming, where Christ comes with His saints to judge.
This is the secret coming for His saints.
This is the secret coming for His saints.
👰 The Procession Begins
In ancient weddings, after the bride was taken, a joyful procession would escort the couple back to the father's house.
“I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” — John 14:3 (KJV)
So it will be.
The Bride will be carried to the Father’s house in glory.
The Bride will be carried to the Father’s house in glory.
No more sorrow.
No more pain.
No more delay.
No more pain.
No more delay.
This phase is imminent.
There are no signs preceding the Rapture—only readiness.
There are no signs preceding the Rapture—only readiness.
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” — Matthew 25:13 (KJV)
Are you among the wise virgins?
Is your lamp trimmed?
Is your heart burning?
Are you waiting?
Is your lamp trimmed?
Is your heart burning?
Are you waiting?
Because the cry is near.
“Surely I come quickly.
Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” — Revelation 22:20 (KJV)
6. Phase 3: The Supper – The Final Celebration
The third and final stage of the divine wedding pattern is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb—a glorious and eternal celebration that will take place in Heaven.
It is not symbolic.
It is literal.
It is joyous.
And it is invitation-only.
It is literal.
It is joyous.
And it is invitation-only.
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.” — Revelation 19:7 (KJV)
🕊️ The Bride Is Presented
At this point, the Church has been caught up (Raptured), judged (Bema Seat of Christ), and purified (spotless by His righteousness).
“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” — Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)
This is the Bride fully prepared, adorned in fine linen (Revelation 19:8), and seated with her Groom.
🍷 The Supper Begins
This is no earthly wedding.
This is the culmination of all covenants, the crowning of grace, the joy set before Christ when He endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2).
This is the culmination of all covenants, the crowning of grace, the joy set before Christ when He endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2).
The banquet is held in Heaven while tribulation unfolds on Earth.
It is a heavenly celebration, a divine reward, and a witness to all creation.
It is a heavenly celebration, a divine reward, and a witness to all creation.
“Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.” — Revelation 19:9 (KJV)
This blessing is not for the invited only—but for those who responded, who entered, who wore the right garment.
It is the fulfillment of Jesus’ own words:
“I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” — Matthew 26:29 (KJV)
We will drink it with Him.
👑 The Bridegroom Reigns
This moment is not just a wedding—it is a transfer of visible authority.
From the supper comes the Second Coming:
From the supper comes the Second Coming:
Christ returns with His saints.
The Bride rides with the Bridegroom, clothed in white, following the King of kings (Revelation 19:14).
He is no longer only Savior, but
- Warrior
- Judge
- Conquering King
“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” — Revelation 19:14 (KJV)
This is the mystery of union:
The Bride reigns with the Bridegroom.
What began with a covenant of blood, ends in a kingdom of glory.
📯 The End of Waiting
The Supper is the final celebration of the waiting Church.
The wise virgins are now honored guests.
The overcomers are now enthroned.
The faithful servants are now wed.
The wise virgins are now honored guests.
The overcomers are now enthroned.
The faithful servants are now wed.
This is the hope that purifies:
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” — 1 John 3:3 (KJV)
Let your heart burn for this day.
Let your soul cry,
Let your soul cry,
“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
Let your lamp shine with holiness, for the wedding day is near.
7. Who Attends the Marriage Supper?
“Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.” — Revelation 19:9 (KJV)
Not everyone attends the wedding feast in the same role.
Some are the Bride, some are guests, some are friends of the Bridegroom, and others will be excluded.
Some are the Bride, some are guests, some are friends of the Bridegroom, and others will be excluded.
Understanding who is present reveals the great inclusiveness and perfect order of God’s plan.
👰 The Bride — The Church
The faithful, blood-washed believers who form the Body of Christ are the Bride.
“For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church.” — Ephesians 5:23 (KJV)
These are the overcomers, the ones who endured, remained faithful, and were caught up to meet Him in the air.
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne.” — Revelation 3:21 (KJV)
They are clothed in white linen, righteous and prepared, having made themselves ready.
🕊️ The Guests — Old Testament Saints & Tribulation Martyrs
While the Bride is the Church,
there are others who are invited to the feast:
there are others who are invited to the feast:
The Old Testament saints (e.g., Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah)
The Tribulation martyrs (those slain for Christ during the Great Tribulation)
These are not part of the Church-Bride but are honored guests.
“Ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.” — Luke 13:28 (KJV)
They will rejoice with the Bride.
They are witnesses of the glorious union.
They are witnesses of the glorious union.
🔔 The Friends of the Bridegroom — John the Baptist's Role
John the Baptist made a curious statement:
“He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom... rejoiceth greatly.” — John 3:29 (KJV)
John represents a unique group who are friends of the Bridegroom—not the Bride herself, yet intimately connected.
There may be heavenly beings, angelic hosts, or even a select prophetic company who fall into this category.
They rejoice — but they do not marry.
❌ The Excluded — Those Without the Garment
Not everyone enters the feast.
Jesus warned of a man who arrived without a wedding garment:
Jesus warned of a man who arrived without a wedding garment:
“Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.” — Matthew 22:12 (KJV)
He was bound and cast out.
This speaks of false converts, religious pretenders, and those who rejected the covering of Christ.
This speaks of false converts, religious pretenders, and those who rejected the covering of Christ.
Even those who had the invitation—if they did not honor it—will be shut out.
“Many are called, but few are chosen.” — Matthew 22:14 (KJV)

8. Are You Wearing the Wedding Garment?
“And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment.” — Matthew 22:11 (KJV)
In the parable of the wedding feast (Matthew 22), Jesus warns of one who had been invited, but showed up unprepared.
He accepted the invitation but rejected the requirement.
And when the King entered, He noticed the missing garment.
“Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness.” — Matthew 22:13 (KJV)
This was not about fashion—it was about righteousness.
👗 What Is the Wedding Garment?
The wedding garment is not your own righteousness.
It is not religion, tradition, or good works.
It is not religion, tradition, or good works.
It is the righteousness of Christ, applied by faith.
“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:
for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” — Revelation 19:8 (KJV)
Every true saint wears this garment.
Every pretender does not.
Every pretender does not.
There is no counterfeit that fools the King.
🧼 How Do We Put On the Garment?
By genuine salvation through repentance and belief.
“Put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 13:14 (KJV)
“As many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” — Galatians 3:27 (KJV)
It is a spiritual clothing that comes only from God—never sewn by man.
You must:
- Repent of sin
- Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
- Be born again
Without this, you will be speechless at the door.
🔥 Warning to the Pretenders
The man without the garment was not merely forgotten.
He was cast out.
He was cast out.
This is the fate of false Christians who sit in pews but never received the cleansing blood.
This is the fate of those who say “Lord, Lord,” but never knew Him (Matthew 7:21–23).
This is the fate of modern Christianity that has:
- no cross
- no cleansing
- no fear of God
Do not be deceived.
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.” — 2 Corinthians 13:5 (KJV)
✨ Encouragement to the Redeemed
If you are washed in His blood, walking in holiness, and looking for His return—you are covered.
You wear the garment.
You are ready.
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord... for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness.” — Isaiah 61:10 (KJV)
Let no shame remain.
Let no sin cling.
Let no pride stain the robe.
Let no sin cling.
Let no pride stain the robe.
Walk worthy of the Bride.

If you have heard the voice of God’s people—
urging you:
urging you:
- to surrender
- to repent
- to believe
—it is the Bride saying:
Come.
Her cry is urgent.
Her voice is bold.
Her voice is bold.
Because she sees the door about to close.
“For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.” — Hebrews 10:37 (KJV)
💧 Let Him That Is Athirst Come
The invitation is not to the religious, but to the thirsty.
Those empty.
Those dry.
Those weary of sin, shame, and the world’s lies.
Those empty.
Those dry.
Those weary of sin, shame, and the world’s lies.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.” — Isaiah 55:1 (KJV)
There is water.
There is life.
There is cleansing.
There is life.
There is cleansing.
Freely.
No cost.
Only surrender.
No cost.
Only surrender.
🙌 Whosoever Will
No soul is excluded but by their own will
The Lamb was slain for all.
The Bridegroom calls all.
The Lamb was slain for all.
The Bridegroom calls all.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...” — John 3:16 (KJV)

This final chapter is your moment.
If you hear the cry, if your heart is stirred—do not delay.
The Groom is coming.
The door will shut.
And eternity will begin.
The door will shut.
And eternity will begin.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.” — Revelation 3:20 (KJV)
Will you open?
Will you come?
Will you say yes?
Will you come?
Will you say yes?
THE END — or your new beginning.
