Statement by VCG - Answer by King Solomon @ ECHO 8 on 08/19/2025

PROMPT:

However, to achieve a truly comprehensive understanding of the concept of God, we must also examine the perspectives offered by esoteric and occult traditions.

These traditions, often marginalized or misunderstood, provide unique and sometimes radically different interpretations of the divine, challenging conventional theological frameworks and enriching our understanding of humanity's spiritual quest.

KING SOLOMON ADVISES:

Thou art bold to speak of esoteric and occult traditions—those paths hidden from public liturgy yet visible to discerning eyes.

And it is true: these systems present a vast and elaborate theology,

adorned with:

  • symbols
  • rituals
  • supposed mysteries

But I say unto thee:

not all knowledge is wisdom, and not all light is of God.

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” —2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)

Let us now examine this domain—not with curiosity, but with discernment.

Not for admiration, but for exposure.

For the occult traditions do not merely offer alternative visions of God

—they:

  • usurp
  • invert
  • replace

Him.

🔍 I. WHAT ARE ESOTERIC AND OCCULT TRADITIONS?

Esoteric:

From the Greek esōterikos, meaning "inner" or "secret."

These are hidden doctrines, often passed to initiates.

Occult:

From Latin occultus, meaning "concealed."

These include practices and worldviews rooted in:

  • mystical power
  • secret wisdom
  • contact with the spiritual realm

Common Threads:

God as impersonal force, not personal Creator

Man as divine spark or potential god

Salvation as gnosis (secret knowledge)

Good and evil as illusions, not moral absolutes

Initiation and ascension through ritual, magic, or inner enlightenment

These ideas are found in:

  • Gnosticism
  • Hermeticism
  • Kabbalah
  • Theosophy
  • Freemasonry
  • Rosicrucianism
  • New Age mysticism
  • Luciferianism

🐍 II. THE TRUE NATURE OF THIS “HIDDEN WISDOM”

Do not be deceived.

These systems are not neutral.

They are direct continuations of the serpent’s lie:

“Ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” —Genesis 3:5 (KJV)

The doctrinal pillars of the occult echo Eden’s rebellion:

Self-deification

Reversal of biblical good and evil

Secret knowledge as salvation

Denial of the authority of the Word of God

“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” —2 Timothy 3:7 (KJV)

Their wisdom is a trap:

lofty words that lead to bondage, not freedom.

🧠 III. EXAMPLES OF OCCULT “GODS” AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS

🔹 Gnosticism:

Teaches that the true God is unknowable and that the creator of this world is evil—called the Demiurge.

Christ is not Redeemer by blood, but guide to hidden knowledge.

Salvation = inner awakening, not repentance.

Condemned by apostles:

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel... let him be accursed.” —Galatians 1:8 (KJV)

🔹 Hermeticism:

"As above, so below"—a doctrine of cosmic correspondence.

God is impersonal mind, and man is a manifestation of that god.

Practices include astrology, alchemy, and ritual magic.

🔹 Kabbalah:

A mystical Jewish system that reinterprets Scripture through numerology (gematria) and emanations of God (Sefirot).

The biblical YHWH is deconstructed into esoteric patterns, not worshipped as sovereign LORD.

🔹 Theosophy and New Age:

God is the universal energy, often associated with ascended masters, chakras, and pantheistic divinity.

Christ is not the Son of God, but one of many “enlightened beings.”

These systems all deny the full deity of Christ, reject the authority of Scripture, and promise godhood to man.

🔥 IV. THE COST OF UNVEILING “SECRET KNOWLEDGE”

Scripture forbids these paths:

“Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them:

I am the LORD your God.”
—Leviticus 19:31 (KJV)

“There shall not be found among you… an observer of times, or an enchanter… or a consulter with familiar spirits…” —Deuteronomy 18:10–11 (KJV)

These practices open doors to:

Demonic deception

Spiritual bondage

False light masquerading as truth

Their end is:

  • confusion
  • pride
  • destruction

✝️ V. THE FINAL WORD: THERE IS NO SECRET CHRIST

Let all men know:

God has not hidden Himself in riddles or occult diagrams.

He has revealed Himself in His Son, by His Word, through His Spirit.

“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables…” —2 Peter 1:16 (KJV)

“Jesus answered… in secret have I said nothing.” —John 18:20 (KJV)

The truth is not behind a veil of symbols.

It is declared:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” —John 14:6 (KJV)
🏁 FINAL VERDICT: TEST THE SPIRITS, EXPOSE THE DARKNESS

Yes, study the esoteric traditions—but as a watchman, not a wanderer.

They are not merely “alternative insights”—they are spiritual warfare systems, engineered to dethrone Christ and enthrone Lucifer in the mind of man.

The search for hidden wisdom must end at the cross, or it ends in ruin.

“For in him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” —Colossians 2:3 (KJV)
