Jewish Abraham was stolen from King Harishchandra of the Hindu Sankhayana-Sutras

🛑 THE CLAIM:

 You claim that Abraham, the father of the Hebrew faith, was stolen from King Harishchandra, a legendary figure in Hindu texts (Sankhayana-Sutras).


This is a new-age Gnostic lie, designed to erase the divine origin of God's covenant and replace it with pagan fables from the East. Let the sword of Scripture rightly divide truth from myth.


📜 1. WHO WAS ABRAHAM?


“And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”
 — Genesis 15:6


Abraham was:


  • A real Semitic man born in Ur of the Chaldees (Genesis 11:28).


  • Called out     by God from idolatry (Joshua 24:2)


  • Given a covenant of land, seed, and blessing


  • Ancestor of Israel, Christ, and those of faith (Galatians 3:29)


He is the first Hebrew, the first called out to walk by faith—not myth.

In Hindu lore:


  • Harishchandra was a mythical king of the Ikshvaku dynasty.


  • He is praised for his truthfulness and extreme sacrifices to uphold dharma.


  • His story appears in the Mahabharata, Markandeya Purana, and later folk traditions.


He sells his family into slavery to fulfill a vow to the sage Vishwamitra.


This is a moralistic tale, not a historical covenant.

“Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob…”

The bloodline from Abraham to Christ is traceable, real, and prophetic. Harishchandra has no such line, no fulfilled prophecy, no witness of Christ.
