We noticed an article in The Australian, Friday 11/02/22 , about China's world domination, and your comment prompted us to read it.

The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken had been here for three days.

He had an interview with The Australian and was to go to Melbourne, Friday, to join with his counterparts from India and Japan as well as Marise Payne at the formal Quadrilateral meeting.

However, in the article, he says that the world order that China wants, is profoundly illiberal, while the US', is liberal.

So, do we understand, that here it is in black and white, that there is to be a 'world order' - China or US?

Wouldn't any world order be bad news?

 

We can go back to the 11am daily news spots during Covid, where both Dan Andrews and Kerry Chant at some point, said we need a world order.

What are your thoughts? ….

 

 

Fallen humankind has always been trying to establish New World Orders.

Well, that came crashing down.

Today, no one knows where the Tower was.

 

Sennacherib of Assyria, "the wolf on the fold".

Little did he realize that God was using him as a "rod" to belt God's own people gone astray, and as an "axe" to chop them down (Isaiah).

 

Then it was Babylon's turn to smash the people of Israel, much to the horror of the prophet Habakkuk.

Why would God be using a people even worse than His own, to chastise Israel?

 

The Assyrians and Babylonians were bent only on glory and conquest.

They did not have a clue that God was using them as His instruments.

When finished with, He cast them aside.

{Though, in Nebuchednezzar's case, he converted. (Will Russia one day follow that example, conversion?

How did he end up?

 

The Soviet Union finally collapsed as well after Pope John Paul II, in 1984, did the Marian Consecration requested at Fatima (and the Berlin Wall fell, too).

Putin deeply regrets this, though he realizes that the Soviet Union cannot realistically be brought back together again.

 

So, it seems to be a continuous pattern of God's people falling away, having to be corrected (theologians today don't seem to like the notion of God actually punishing), God using a pagan instrument that has completely other motives.

Job done.

Instrument then discarded.

 

God is totally in charge as Habakkuk would come to realize.

He had been wondering why God had stopped being God, so to speak, why the wicked ones were prospering, and all their plans were being fulfilled.

Just like today.

Job had the same problem.

Why do the wicked prosper?

Why is God crushing me, instead?

 

In due course, when the wise God deems the time to be appropriate, the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph and there will be “an era of peace” (Fatima).

 

Now, that will be a New World Order well worth waiting for.
