Amen. Let’s open the Holy Scriptures and rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15), so we may walk in discernment, not in the suspicion of the flesh, but in the light of God's revelation.

1. God’s Original Covenant with Israel

God chose Israel—not because of their greatness—but because of His sovereign grace:

“The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people… But because the LORD loved you…” —Deuteronomy 7:7-8

Israel was called to be a peculiar people, a light to the nations (Isaiah 42:6), and the vehicle through which the Messiah would come.

2. Rejection of the Messiah

When Christ came, the religious leaders and much of Israel rejected Him:

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” —John 1:11

Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44) because of their rejection. Yet even in judgment, the door of mercy remained open:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem… how often would I have gathered thy children together… and ye would not!” —Matthew 23:37

3. Salvation Is in Christ Alone—Not Ethnicity

The New Testament makes it clear:

There is no spiritual salvation outside of Jesus Christ, not even for the ethnic Jew.

“He is not a Jew, which is one outwardly… but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly…” —Romans 2:28-29

“There is neither Jew nor Greek… for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” —Galatians 3:28

The ground at the cross is level. The Church is not "replacing" Israel—it is the continuation of the true Israel of God, those who believe by faith (Romans 9:6-8).

4. The Church: One Body, One Fold

Jesus said:

“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring… and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” —John 10:16

Paul taught the one new man:

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition…” —Ephesians 2:14-15

Gentile believers are grafted in to the same olive tree (Romans 11:17). We are not second-class citizens. We are fellow heirs (Ephesians 3:6).

5. Modern Israel and Zionism: Discernment Required

Today’s secular State of Israel is not a fulfillment of prophecy in righteousness. It was founded in 1948 by men, many of whom were atheists and secularists. Jesus said:

“My kingdom is not of this world.” —John 18:36

Any Christian movement that glorifies the nation of Israel while diminishing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is walking in error. To love Israel rightly is to evangelize them.

6. The Remnant of Israel Shall Be Saved

God has not cast away His people (Romans 11:1). There is a remnant according to grace.

“And so all Israel shall be saved…” —Romans 11:26

This does not mean every ethnic Jew is saved. It means that those who turn to Christ—Jew and Gentile alike—are part of the true Israel, the body of Christ.

7. Warning Against Boasting

Paul warns Gentile believers:

“Boast not against the branches… thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.” —Romans 11:18

Hatred toward Jews is of the devil. But so is blind allegiance to false doctrine in the name of ethnicity. Christ is not the minister of sin (Galatians 2:17).

Conclusion: Jesus Christ is the Fulfillment

In Christ:

The promises to Abraham are fulfilled (Galatians 3:16).

The true temple is His body (John 2:21).

The priesthood is fulfilled in Him (Hebrews 4:14).

The kingdom is advancing through the Church (Matthew 28:19-20).

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” —2 Corinthians 1:20

If you want, I can create a visual chart showing the distinctions and unity between Israel, the Church, and the promises in Christ. Would you like that?
