Decent Espresso DE1XL Black — 220V — v1.44 — Warranty until Jan 2027
Selling my Decent Espresso DE1XL in black, 220V version, currently located in Germany.
The machine is in good overall condition and works perfectly. It has an espresso counter of 1,670 espresso shots. It has been regularly cleaned/backflushed and used carefully.
Cosmetically, there are some normal small signs of use. The main visible imperfection is a small paint chip on the black group-head/control housing, shown in the photos. This is cosmetic only. A replacement part is included if the buyer wants to make it perfect.
The shot mirror has slightly rough edges, but can be replaced easily if desired.
The machine still has warranty until January 2027 and comes in the original Decent luggage/case.

This machine makes fantastic shots. Blooming shots with 3:1 extraction ratio were a favorite of mine. Still has the standard (original) group head. The only replacement/modification was a silicone head gasket I swapped out after about 1 year of ownership.
Just over 2834 shots pulled on this machine. Water used was either Hetch Hetchy (while in Palo Alto) or reverse osmosis water (when living in a harder water area).
Total height (with tablet on top) is 17 inches.
While I have run the descaling routine multiple times with citric acid, I've never had any scale problems.

It's the original tablet that came with the machine. I never bothered updating it. It was always plugged in with the screen off or powered down. I'm mildly surprised that the battery seems okay.
This is a SWorks drip tray scale adapter pictured here with a newer version DEXL v1.45. It is currently adapted to a Skale 2 by atomax. The Skale unfortunately does not work. It will turn on, can be wirelessly discovered and connected to by my machine but will not register weight, will only show "0.0". Includes one cup riser The tray itself has one spot where the paint it damaged, it is on the right on the downward facing edge, shown in the last picture.

Unsure of the exact shot count (counter in the UI resets when doing firmware updates) but I'd estimate it has ~1000 shots on it. Aside from two small cosmetic defects all parts in good condition. I regularly cleaned / back flushed and only fed it deionised water. Warranty until Dec 2026.

Of note is there is no grouphead controller and I believe this is also the last version to do the mirror finish. Besides that, all the parts that Decent support has recommended have effectively taken this up to a 1.43 model…aside from possibly a little more headspace. You may want to confirm this for yourself but this was what I was able to find for myself when I got this back in July. Selling due to a move and I don’t prefer the workflow for pulling a bunch of shots when we host. Mostly people just want 9 bar with a heart in their drink anyway haha.

Ownership transferrable and you can purchase warranty for 2 years for $300. Purchased the 220V for the powerful steamer, it can be used safely on a regular 110V outlet with a step-up transformer, the photos below show the white little transformer I use, and it cost $120 on amazon (lookup Uyoyous 3000W Step Up Voltage 110V to 220V) , have been seeing folks use that with Leliit Bianca too. The android screen is fully functional, has a chip in a corner on the back, but not visible from the front when machine in use. Will ship and will come with the Decent suitcase with all the foam paddings. Happy to do a video call to verify working status and ownership.
I've kept up with most of the major upgrades including new filter, upgraded group head parts, and the new freckles shower screen. I also upgraded to custom ironwood burl handles as shown (though there has been some wear over time as you can see). Will also throw in a weber unifilter baset along with all the IMS baskets I have. Can include tamp station and tamper if needed.
Has not been used super intensely over the 7+ years I've owned it, shot counter is only in the 700s so this should have a ton of life left and is still I great machine, I just really want to switch to meticulous since I prefer lever style and trying to cover that cost.

Selling my DE1PRO black 220V v1.43 - It's still working great, but recently, I have become more of a "manual" person for both pour-overs and espresso, so I want to pass it on to someone.
I'm looking for €3000 as a starting price, but if you make me a good offer, I'm willing to compromise. This might sound like a high price, but I made a few upgrades and I pack some extra stuff, see below. The machine is sitting in Stuttgart, Germany - you can either pick it up locally, or I can ship it - Germany preferred, but I'll send it to all EU countries.
Purchased 2022-04-30, still under extended warranty until 2026-05-02, so you can extend that if you want. Total shot count is 1583 - disregard what's shown in the tablet photo - that number gets reset every time you lose your shot db... 🙃
The machine has always only consumed custom water (custom 90/60 mix) based on water that ran through a Zero Water filter, so there's zero limescale anywhere.
I'll include a Decent Tamper v4. Why? Because I have too many tampers.
I'll include two silicone gaskets. The current one has been installed early 2025, so it should still last a bit.
I upgraded to the Group head v2 (the plastic water distribution parts). The original parts are included if you want to downgrade for whatever reason.
I also upgraded to the Intake Filter v2 - again, the original one is contained.
It comes with the purple resin portafilter handle, and it comes with the short group head handle from Sworksdesign. I do not have the original group head handle - it was a soft wood one that got damaged and I threw it away.
The original tablet has been replaced with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 (SM-X110) that's currently running Android 16 and will get upgrades from Samsung until at least 2027-10-01. The tablet will arrive completely wiped, so you have to set up de1app on your own. There's a guide here in Basecamp, it's not hard.
Machine would be shipped (or picked up) in the original suitcase with the original box. The painter's carpet mess you see in the photo is just me protecting the tablet - the A9 does not fit into the original slot.

Selling de1xl. Has a SWORKS billet screen installed but will also include original shower screen. The group head shroud has been modified to accommodate a Weber unifilter (included). Also has a tri hole steam tip and will also include and extra drip tray cover with built in acaia lunar holder.
I do not have the original porta filters but as mentioned will ship with a unifilter. Also includes original carry suitcase and blind basket. I also have a smaller group head handle installed but will include the original as well as a decent self leveling tamper
It is a DE1+ PRO, serial #003, which of course means it is version 1.0. It still has the latest firmware and software, as every update Decent puts out is backwards compatible all the way to this machine.
The major hardware revisions have added a touchpad to the top of the group, and modified some other things like headroom in the group. To my knowledge, neither of these have a major impact on the quality of the coffee output.
My machine has about 2500 shots of espresso and steam on it in the 5 years l've owned it, and has just come back from a service at Decent HQ. The manifold sprung a leak, which likely caused a heater failure as well. They replaced the steam and hot water heater, as well as went over all other functions and parts while they had it. From what I understand, they also replaced other parts while they had it, but I don't have a breakdown. I expect it will yield many more years of faithful service.
It also comes with both the catering kit AND the plumbing kit along with the requisite hosing and drain tray it comes with. You'll also notice in the pictures, that it includes a Samsung tablet, as the original died long ago. It will also be shipped in the Decent custom suitcase, inside a Decent box. I'll also throw in a 58.5mm tamper, and the 3 precision baskets I have for it (15, 18, 22).
It's in excellent condition, with the only wear and tear being the portafilter handle has lost a bit of paint, and the grouphead cover has faded from black to kind of a nice bronze color.

Warranty valid until 2026/08/06. Includes Decent tamper, plumbing kit, machine, and suitcase. I am selling because I am downgrading to a machine that will work for both mine and my wife's tastes. Used BWT water softening pouches, and the plumbing kit was hooked into a pre-filter. Prepped for shipping by draining water from machine. Lightly used in home by only me. 671 shots pulled.

Additionally I have a Eureka Oro Mignon XL grinder in white that is $899 new. It was purchased new in January 2022. It is perfectly functional, with one cosmetic issue which is that the hopper cap has a chip out. This is visible in the photos from the rear on the top left of the hopper in that view. As an optional add on (not bundling with machine), I am asking $499 (local) or $550 (shipped) for the grinder along with the mat and tamper slot.
I purchased a new DE1 Pro last May (2025) and it is a v1.45, black, with American Oak handles. I have also upgraded the tablet to a Samsung A9, but will also include the original Teclast tablet, both work fine and neither have any technical nor cosmetic issues. I will also include the Euan metal drip tray with the cutout for a Bookoo Themis Mini scale (scale NOT included). I have all the original accessories and the travel suitcase. It has only been used with distilled water with third wave espresso profile minerals, so no scale issues. It has been meticulously cared for with monthly cleanings per Decent's recommendations, and nightly back flushes etc. Everything is excellent condition and will post one simple pic now to get started, but more can be added upon request. I am located in the Minneapolis/Western Wisconsin area, so local pickup is fine, and shipping can also be arranged for the additional expense. I am asking $3000.00 USD for everything, plus shipping if necessary.
Condition: The externals are in great condition (consistent with a well-cared-for 6-year-old machine), but the internal mechanicals are practically new following the v1.4 upgrade last year.

Hi there, I am selling my Weber Workshops KEY MKii or exchange it for a Mahlkönig E65S GbW.
The grinder is in a perfect condition. I still have the protection package to ship it.
For EU orders, be careful because WW are shipping only from Taïwan actually, so duties and taxes have to be paid in plus, count 2500-2600€ with taxes and duties.
I purchased this in January 2021. I've done one major upgrade: the recommended grouphead v2 upgrade, which has improved the flow, temperature, and overall consistency.
I've always used either low calcium spring water, and then at some point switched to RO water to prevent any buildup, and done regular maintenance to keep the machine in good working order. I included a picture of the stats about the number of shots and steams, but I think this is just counting on my current install of the app on my tablet, not since I bought the machine. I think I've probably averaged about 2-3 shots and one steam per day for 4 years, so it would be about 3,700 total shots and 1500 steams.
The only problem I've had is a failure of the original tablet--it no longer holds a charge. So if you purchase this machine, you will need to either install the app on your own tablet (there are instructions here: https://decentespresso.com/downloads), or you could purchase the converter so that the original tablet can work off USB power without a battery (https://decentespresso.com/cart?filter=battery%20free%20kit). If you go with option 2, you will need to use an external USB power source, since on v1.42, the USB power is not continuous while making a shot. So I would recommend just buying a cheap tablet, or running the app on a tablet you also use for other things. I'm currently running the app on a tablet that I need to keep for my own use, so that's why you'll need to find your own solution for how to run the app.

I'm glad to include the filter3 basket in a second portafilter (and some filter papers), which I've really enjoyed using over the last year or so. Recently, I have been using this more often than making espresso. I can also include my normcore tamper and WDT tool as well if you're interested. I'll also include a steam pitcher if I can fit it in the suitcase.
I'm only selling because I'm moving overseas to a 220v country, so I won't be able to bring this.
I know this model is no longer sold, but when it was, Decent marketed it as all you needed for home use, while the DE1Pro and up were more robust, for use in a commercial setting.

DE1XL, bought in May 2024 and used lightly in my office. Drink counter shows only ~250 made. Includes catering kit, drain kit, wire tray and a tray with a cutout for an Acaia Lunar scale (scale not included), 3 hole steam wand head and original 1 hole head, 350 ml competition milk jug, natural finish handles, 18g basket and blank, tamper. Purchased directly from Decent in 8/14/2023 as Refurb sn#8382 with full 2-year warranty (it had less than 50 shots on the counter at the time of purchase), and works like on day one. Everything is stock - never been modified or repaired. It's just out of warranty (2023/08/14 -> 2025/08/14), but warranty extension can be purchased from Decent if needed. I am happy to facilitate communication/verification of any information regarding this machine with the manufacturer.
The machine has always been running on RO water remineralized with Third Wave Water (espresso machine profile, 50% strength) mineral packets so that the hardness of the water is always below the recommended by Decent 100-120ppm . Comes in its original packaging (travel suitcase) with all the stock accessories included.

Hello Folks! This may not be the best forum to post such a machine considering the audience, however, I thought I'd try here frst. I have a almost brand new Breville Oracle Jet in Damson Blue, with two hoppers, a 58mm Breville Puck-Sucker, and a single-dose adapter that I will let go for $1500.00 USD, plus shipping. I had this prior to obtaining the DE1 and it is a great machine for those seeking simplicity, ease of use, and auto-frothing with temperature control in the steam wand. It has the new Baratza burrs in the grinder, auto distributes/tamps and is ready to pull the shot and steam if you have selected a milk drink. The TFT screen is very nice and clear, very responsive, and user friendly. I may have used this for a month to a month and a half, and it has been cleaned diligently. I only used distilled water with third wave minerals added. I would love to see this beauty find a home as opposed to me just admiring the brilliant blue color every day. Selling my Decent DE1XL machine in good condition for $3500. It's working great, zero issues but selling to since I no longer spend much time using the advanced profiling functionality. All original accessories (and tablet and travel case) included.
This machine was purchased on 12/27/22. It's gotten regular use but only made average of ~1 shot a day with this, so definitely has a lot of life left. Well taken care of - regularly cleaned & descaled and only used with softened water. It's been cleaned/descaled and ready to go to new home.

The machine is about 2 years old and in excellent condition. It still has warranty coverage for France until the end of 2026.
Since I used it together with the Decent scale and the Scale Stand by Coffee Design Lab (South Korea), the machine’s feet were swapped out. The original feet as well as the original drip tray grid are, of course, included.
I have exclusively used very soft water with a TDS of 46.3 and kept the machine fully updated with the latest upgrades.

Home use for ~2.5 years, always with filtered / distilled water, cleaned regularly, works great.
I include the stock accessories, a Decent Scale, a water tank cover, the acaia-shaped drip-tray cover, and a Normcore bottomless PF with a Weber Unibasket if desired (but highly recommended!). Sadly no original packaging anymore.

I replaced the slow stock tablet with a faster Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and migrated all the machine metadata so the shot count shown in the photos is accurate. The OG tablet is included in the suitcase as well, but I recommend you stick to the upgrade.

I included the original light oak group head handle if you decide you prefer the look, but I don't have the original light oak portafilter handle to match. I much prefer the resin handles (or other OEM portafilters in general) as they stand up way better to heavy use.
Shower screen o-ring was recently replaced after 1000+ shots, so you should be good to go there. There's no detectable leaks or difficulty locking the portafilter, so the gasket should still have plenty of life left.
NOTE: Although it is pictured, I will not include the Acaia Lunar scale since it won't fit in the suitcase, but happy to discuss a separate sale, maybe a discount if you buy both.
I never used the refill kit (still new in box), only ever the water tank with DIY remineralized RO water, tested with GH/KH test kit and double checked with a TPS meter. Always brewed with metal puck screen or (if I'm lazy) paper filters, weekly backflush with Cafiza using the Weber Spring Clean, descaled monthly with citric acid and the in-app program.

I’m selling my Weber Key Grinder Mark I from the Indigo campaign. The grinder has been gently used and is in very good condition with minor signs of use (see photos).

I am selling my Ceado from 2020. In february I purchased brand new original 83mm flat Opalgluide burrs. The grinder had a service in february where the new burrs were installed as well.
The Ceado performs very well with lighter roasts, if you prefer medium dark to dark roasts, you might be looking for a different grinder. Perhaps the new burrs are not seasoned right now.
The original packaging is lost, so I am looking for someone in Germany who wants to pick it up.

For sale is my near new white 220V DE1 XXL which was purchased 26 Nov 2024. SRL #10692 The warranty expires 26 Nov 2026. Comes with the suitcase and all standard accessories. I recently upgraded to the tab A9+, so I no longer need the a7 lite that was previously installed. This always ran perfectly well for the decent app, using stock androwish, even with my Acaia lunar scale. It's in cosmetically great condition, as well. I've factory reset the device, as you can see in the photos. I'm looking to sell for $60, shipped within the central 48 states. Would also be willing to meet locally if someone was interested. If you're using the stock teclast tablet, this could be a chance for an upgrade.

Disclaimers: I love Filter3 brewing. I already have one. I love Decent and I will continue to support them through the community(ies) and with my wallet.
Having said that, I know that not everyone shares that love of Filter3. In the interests of reduce/reuse/recycle, I'm asking if anyone in the US has a Filter3 basket that's just taking up space, or otherwise unwanted, that they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price plus shipping. I specified US, because the assumption is that international shipping would probably take it over what a new one would cost from Scott Rao's site.
Really, I'm just offering to rehome a less-loved basket, so that I can make back-to-back Filter3s with a little less faff than I do today. No nefarious intentions. :)
