- Bernie Kern called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm EST.
- Kern reminded everyone to be mindful of the Antitrust Statement.
- With a little prodding by Steve Mickley, Kern read the mission and vision statements and the core values of AIBD.
- This meeting is to report on the committee activities, approve an exhibitor contract, consider a membership recruitment proposal, and review a chapter probation list.

Consent Agenda: Ted Hake moved to accept the items on the Consent Agenda. The motion was seconded and passed with no objections.

- President’s Report - Bernie Kern read his written report. There were no actions or recommendations.
- Conference Committee - Ben Tabolt read his written report. He answered a question about Colorado Springs. There were no actions or recommendations.
- Chapter Coordinator - Keith Zoni reported there are 14 chapters that have not met within the past seven months or more. They are on a list to be considered for probation.
- Education Committee - No report.
- BIM-R Subcommittee - No report.
- Finance Committee - No report.
- Resolutions Committee - Karen Kassik-Michelsohn reported the one item the committee was investigating has been resolved.
- Nominating Committee - No report.
- High-Performance Homes Team - Bernie Kern read Michael Payne's written report. There were no actions or recommendations.
- AIBD Magazine Committee - Yu-Ngok Lo read his written report. There were no actions or recommendations.
- Building Design Awards Committee - Steve Mickley reported there are six 2021 entries and $1170 in gross revenue. This compares to 13 entries in 2020 and $3820 in gross revenue.
- ARDA Committee - Ted Hake read his written report. There were no actions or recommendations.
- Codes & Standards Committee - Mike Battaglia read his written report. There were no actions or recommendations.
- Ex Officio: College of Fellows - No report.
- Ex Officio: NCBDC - Kimberly Mockert read her written report. There were no actions or recommendations.

- Membership drive/promotion proposal. - Lisa Schaffer moved to approve the membership drive/promotion proposal. The motion was seconded and passed with no objections.

For The Good of the Institute:
- Mike Battaglia announced The New American Home is designed and built by an AIBD member, Phil Kean, and asked that this be included in the Monday Minute.
- Mike Battaglia announced Ohio member Andy Rohl has been awarded the Young Architect Award by AIA and asked that this be included in the Monday Minute.
- Kimberly Mockert announced that she has been invited to present at a local Christian high school.
- The next board meeting is March 3, 2021, at 4:00 pm EST / 2:00 p.m. MDT Day!
